I visited with my friend who recommended me to Askim, Usually I smoke shisha of PAN Flavour. I got a new packet sealed & told the Shisha Guy to prepare my Shisha with this flavor and Mint. The Shisha Guy agreed with it. Later On he came and apologized that his Manager refused to prepare it for me. Spoke to Manager & the way he explained I can never forget If It really makes sense of his Explanations. I requested that I dont Mind seated outside and smoke my PAN & MINT flavour. But his response was “ Even you smoke out the smell will come inside the Restaurant “ the response were really lame and unprofessional as If a Kindergartner student Is explaining his Homework to his Parents. At the end I decided that I will just smoke Mint flavour & while paying the invoice. They dont accept Fazza until the bill is not AED 200+. If any customers checks on Fazza App It does not Mentioned that Shisha Is not included & It Is not Mentioned that the Bill has to be AED 200 +. So It means A customer doesnt get what he wants + If you want Discount He should spent AED 200+. It Is my first & last experiencing Askim Restaurant & I will Recommend others not to visit there ever as the the customer request has no value. I did not offend anyone + I volunteer myself to sit outside and enjoy the environment. But I was not well welcomed to Askim as the Manager needs to find or learn to respond customers Valued Questions or he needs extra Trainings before you Appoint him as such position infront of high profile Guest. At the end the Valet took 18Mins to bring my vehicle were I stood in heat and perspiring.
I believe my name is Enough for you to know. Thank...
Read moreMy friend and I decided to stop by this restaurant around 3pm after a tiring 3-hour walking tour, craving a hearty meal to rejuvenate us. We opted for their Jaforda salad and for entree chicken slices in creamy lemon sauce and stuffed chicken with rice, accompanied by two iced lattes to perk us up.
The restaurant boasted a pleasant ambience with ample staff, all remarkably attentive. Our server seemed to be in training, but the manager's presence ensured smooth service throughout. The salad was delightful, although initially tangy, it complemented the chicken dishes impeccably. The chicken in creamy sauce was particularly savory, and the stuffed chicken, reminiscent of marinated rotisserie chicken, was bursting with flavor, accompanied by perfectly cooked rice. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us unable to finish everything.
However, a few aspects dampened our experience. Firstly, the restaurant's policy of not serving tap water as an alternative to bottled water was disappointing. Despite my inquiry, the server insisted only bottled water was available, which felt unnecessary. Additionally, the automatic addition of a tip to the bill was unexpected, especially considering our recent dining experiences elsewhere. Lastly, while we opted to sit inside to avoid the heat and insects, the constant stream of flies due to the open door made for a rather bothersome dining atmosphere.
Overall, while the food quality and service were commendable, the aforementioned issues detracted from an otherwise enjoyable...
Read moreAskim Restaurant is truly a culinary gem in the heart of Dubai, located just a short distance from the legendary Burj Khalifa. From the very first moment, you are impressed by the excellent and exceptionally professional service, whose kindness and attention to every detail create an amazing atmosphere. Every visit is full of heartfelt contact with the team, who passionately describe the menu, offer advice, and make you feel special.
The dishes at Askim enchant not only with their extraordinary taste but also with their beautiful presentation – from fresh appetizers, to Mediterranean and Turkish main courses (I especially recommend the mixed grilled meats, aromatic salads, and signature desserts: kunafa with ice cream and saffron cake), all the way to excellent coffee. Every ingredient is chosen perfectly, and the chefs' creativity is second to none. The restaurant’s elegant interiors, views of the city, and live music enhance the culinary experience.
The location is another advantage – situated a short distance from Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, making Askim a perfect spot for gatherings with family and friends, appealing to both Dubai residents and tourists from all over the world. This is my favorite culinary spot in all of Dubai – nowhere else have I experienced such a harmonious blend of outstanding cuisine, professional service, and a wonderful...
