AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! I regret to inform you about the highly disappointing experience my party and I had during our stay at Premier Suites Birmingham over the New Year's Eve period. The subpar service and lack of transparency have left us thoroughly dissatisfied. Upon arrival, we were allocated a room on the 5th floor, situated at the end of the corridor. This placement was far from ideal, especially considering the presence of three smokers and one disabled person in our group. Shockingly, none of this information was disclosed during the booking process or check-in. To make matters worse, when we raised these concerns with the receptionist, a person identified as "Dough Moore" with an Eastern European accent, we were met with rudeness and dismissiveness. It was disheartening to receive such a response, particularly given the inconveniences we were facing. Furthermore, we were astounded to learn, upon our complaints, that the receptionist claimed to have left a message on my checkout day regarding a malfunctioning lift. This communication, if it indeed happened, was a day after our stay had concluded, making it utterly pointless and unhelpful. The lack of transparency, coupled with the unprofessional behavior of the staff, has left a lasting negative impression on our New Year's Eve celebration. We expected a much higher standard of service, and unfortunately, Premier Suites Birmingham failed to meet even the most basic expectations. We hope that this feedback prompts a reevaluation of the service standards at Premier Suites Birmingham and contributes to the improvement of the overall guest experience. Never coming back again.

Stayed there for one night - the location is convenient, close to the centre. Received check-in instructions via email, and then I managed to self check in smoothly after hours. However, the lift didn't work, so I had to walk up to the 4th floor. The apartment is big although the bedroom is very small compared to the living room/kitchen. The living room has a sofa and tv, and the kitchen is well equipped, although I didn't have the chance to use it. The bathroom is a good size, and it has all the necessities. Water pressure is good in the shower, but the shower handle isn't that good and comfortable to use. Unfortunately, the bed wasn't comfortable. The bedroom is very small and not cosy at all. The apartment definitely needs some renovation. Also, the WiFi didn't work, and it was noisy, so I didn't have a good night sleep. I chose this accommodation because there wasn't anything else available on such short notice. It wasn't horrible but I won't stay there again.

We stayed here over the Easter bank holiday weekend to see Bowling for Soup at the nearby O2 Academy. The apartment building is located a few minutes wander from the Bullring & Grand Central Station. 20 mins from the O2 Academy. The bedrooms were nice and roomy, the beds themselves were really big (We're considering an upgrade at home) and everything was lovely, clean & tidy. The carpark is at the back of the building, accessed from around the side - Make sure you get your pin code! Otherwise, nice & secure at night. For me personally, the only downside was the size of the shower screen - As a relatively tall guy, I clear it quite easily and could send a fair amount of water over if not careful. Would quite happily stay here again, we were able to drive down, wasn't too difficult to get parked and just left the car there all weekend.

TLDR: The elevator works again! we had a great stay and highly recommend this place, based on our experience

Before coming here, I was slightly worried because I read the reviews just before arriving. The reason I did so, is because communication with the place was a little bit rough at first and I didn't receive a payment link till a few hours before arrival - so I was scared that we would be arriving there and get the news that our room was not properly booked ( I am a stressed traveler okay? :-( )

But from there things went uphill fast. We received the payment link, paid, and got the follow up e-mail about the (late) check in etc. At arrival, the reception was still open so the lovely lady there gave us our keys + a promised bottle of wine (deal on their website).

And on top of all this: The lift works again! So we didn't have to use the stairs with our luggage - yay.

The room was great - it's just a nice little appartment with a nice kitchen (with stove, oven AND microwave + big fridge & freezer), laundry machine, living room, bathroom en bedroom. Everything looked clean - we closely checked things such as the bed because another big fear of mine was bed bugs - but everything was clean.

Noise was not that much of an issue either. We did, however, keep into account that the hotel is in the center and so there is always some noise to be expected from the street - in our opinion this is not something a hotel could change. I brought some earplugs just in case and slept like a baby.

Location was really good. It's walking distance from the train station and, even better, it's really close to China town! There's this cute, little bakery with the best food so highly recommend walking through that area if you are in birmingham.

all in all a great stay at Premier Suites and would definitely recommend this place if you want something low budget*, high quality

*low budget in comparison to other...

Have just come back from a weekend in the Birmingham suites. There is nothing premier about this accommodation.

Little things in here just didn’t make sense, an apartment that sleeps 4, yet the kettle only holds enough water to make 2 cups of teas/coffee and a toaster that makes 2 slices of toast, also there was only 1 sofa that has enough room for 2 people, the room was big enough to fit another, its little things like this that made our stay not as good as it could have been.

We Booked a 2 bed apartment for 4 of us, one of us had a bath, then we ran out of hot water and after an hour still no hot water. We called the emergency number and to be fair they sorted us out 2, 1 bed apartments and said we could keep all of them if we just wanted to use to shower, we think the apartment the hot water ran out of the boiler was on a timer, except it was in a locked cupboard, the other apartments, you had access to this. The 2nd apartment we were in the fuse ring that all the plug sockets and the boiler was on tripped our last morning and wouldn’t go back, so no hot water or plugs so had to back to the old apartment for this. The first apartment the rooms didn’t smell very clean and the 2nd apartment we were in stunk of cigarettes, the rooms are clean, just not very well maintained. The positives, our issues with water etc were sorted quickly and location was very good, wouldn’t...
