This is a boutique style hotel that has everything you could possibly need to enjoy and explore Edinburgh comfortably. The rooms are impeccably clean. Every interaction with the staff was efficient. The location is central to almost every "tourist" attraction. Getting to the hotel from the airport is super easy. It's a 30 minute drive from EDI to the Princes Street West stop on the Airlink 100 Bus. I bought a round-trip ticket, so it'd be taken care of when I returned back to the airport. Once you get off the bus it's about a 6 minute walk to RIGH. I arrived at 10am, check-in is at 3 p.m. I emailed prior to request a bag drop. There was someone in the lobby area to accommodate that request. I didn't catch his name but he was really nice and helpful! Once the room was available, we received an email. Our bags had already been delivered to the room by the time we arrived. The room itself was really clean and well stocked with coffee, tea, biscuits (cookies), water, milk and Irn-bru (local beverage). We were really lucky to get room 107, which was directly across from the lounge. I know that probably sounds awful to some people, because you might worry about noise, but honestly the hotel was super quiet. We were on the first floor and didn't hear any outside noise. The only sounds were normal hotel sounds like the a/c or muffled footsteps. This was not a noisy hotel at all, considering the location, it was incredibly quiet. The location of the hotel is ideal. You can pretty much walk to every tourist attraction. Everything is within walking distance. The farthest attraction was Arthur's Seat, which was an hour walk from the hotel. Edinburgh Castle, shops/mall, restaurants and cafes are all within a 30 minute walk. The area around the hotel was safe. I felt completely comfortable walking around with my sister in the day and at night. The hotel looks EXACTLY like the photos on their website. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Edinburgh with family, friends, or on...

We had such a lovely stay at RÌGH Residences on George Street. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect base for exploring Edinburgh. The location honestly couldn’t be better – you’re right in the city centre, just a short walk from the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and the train station. There are loads of restaurants, bars, and shops on the doorstep, but because the apartments have a kitchen, we also enjoyed cooking in one night which was a nice option.
The apartment itself was beautiful – really thoughtfully designed with a modern, luxurious feel. Everything felt brand new and high quality, from the fixtures and fittings down to the fluffy towels and bathrobes. The bed linen was so soft and comfortable, and we both slept really well.
We also loved the views – we could see The Firth of Forth from our window which was a real highlight!
Check-in was really straightforward and completely contactless, which made everything simple and stress-free. We loved how private and independent the whole experience felt – like having our own little luxury apartment in the heart of Edinburgh.
Overall, it was a really comfortable and stylish place to stay. It feels like the best of both worlds – the space and independence of an apartment with the luxury touches you’d expect from a hotel. Can't...
