Camden Lodge B&B and Cottage — Hotel in Great Britain

Absolutely incredible. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and were shown to our perfectly appointed large airy room. The rooms have fantastic views out over the Brecon Beacons and we woke up every morning to the beautiful sight of Pen Y Fan and the surrounding hills. The room was immaculately clean with luxurious locally made shampoo and shower gel . The packet of Welsh cakes in our room with the coffee facilities were a nice touch and the constant supply of bottled water throughout our stay kept us well hydrated as we recovered from those long walks. Breakfast! Wow wow wow what more can I say, wonderful selection of fresh fruits including strawberries and blueberries with Greek yoghurt followed by the most delicious cooked breakfast with top quality sausages and bacon cooked to perfection and served promptly. Great location for exploring Brecon which has plenty of amenities coffee shops restaurants pubs etc and of course we'll situated for exploring all that the Brecon Beacons has to offer. Would definitely stay here again. If we were scoring for 4 in the bed it would be 10s...

We can honestly say this is the nicest place we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. We were blown away by the quality of the accommodation. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The room was huge, with a comfortable bed, and brand new en suite. The whole place is presented to a high specification and is warm and inviting. We slept well and were thankful for the thoughtful touches such as bottled water, fresh milk and tea and coffee, including a decaf option. The Welsh cakes and hot chocolate were also a nice treat! Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Food was of a good quality and the service was perfect. The accommodation has a nice chill out lounge for guests, and is perfectly situated, meaning it was only a short stroll into the town. Also a great spot for exploring the brecon national park. We enjoyed chatting to the owners and they made such an effort to make sure we, and all of their other guests, were happy. Absolutely spot on! Could not ask for more. We will definitely be returning....

Camden Lodge Bed & Breakfast is just perfect in many ways. It may not have an official star rating but I would easily award it 5 stars. It is immaculate and the bright room we stayed in had a stunning view of Pen y Fan which we could enjoy from comfy chairs. No bath, but the shower was roomy and powerful. Super comfortable large bed. Quiet and peaceful location near the edge of Brecon, but only a couple of minutes walk from the town centre and just a short drive to some of the better eating places. Special praise to the host, Elaine, who was helpful and friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast could hardly be better: wide choice from a hearty full-cooked option to yoghurt, fresh fruit and cereals. Elaine happily provided almond milk for my wife and regular milk for me. Excellent value for money and it was the perfect base for the hike up Pen y Fan and the Four Waterfalls walk. Cannot recommend highly enough; I hope it will be available next time we visit Brecon so that we can stay...
