Green Dragon - Ludlow — Hotel in Great Britain

The hosts were very Friendly but in my opinion it was too much. I felt like we were just staying in their home, with their personal things in the bedroom and bathroom. There is in only a barrel bolt on te inside of the door so you can lock the door from the inside but not on the outside so when your belongings are left in the room and you go out anyone can go in, not very secure. For the price we paid (£76) the continental breakfast was very poor, plenty of choice but only cheap food and big jars of jam etc to use which I don't find very appealing, and again the host chattering away stood at the table. A lovely B&B. Suzie and Paul couldn't do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. Room was spotlessly clean, with an obvious attention to detail by the hosts. A jug of milk in its own mini fridge in the room rather than the usual plastic cartons of UHT, to name but one. Plenty of choice for breakfast (hot and cold). A great location approx 5min walk from Market Square. If stopping in a soleless Travel Lodge is your thing, stop there. If you want to stop with friends, stop at the Green Dragon. Paul, the host was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about things to do in Ludlow. The Green Dragon is close to the town centre and all amenities. If you like quirky, then this venue is for you. However, if you or any of your party suffer from a physical disability, the stairs are both narrow and steep. The room was clean and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable.
