Two of us tool a weekend away and our love of burgers drew us here. Atmosphere: amazing, relaxing. You know your in the right place when the bar is full of the locals and the tables are welcoming and rustic. Food: I ordered the Smokey Joe burger an my partner ordered the Brie and Bacon (please see their website for the menu, we where drooling before arrival!). The brie and bacon burger: perfectly proportioned, delicious. The Smokey Joe: succulent, absolutely divine and I struggled to put it down after the first bite. Drinks: wide enough range to accommodate adults and children. Menu options: yes they have a children's menu. Deserts: because when the menu gives you over 10 types of ice cream including chocolate and orange, cookies and cream and salted caramel how can you say no. Waffle with chocolate I'd cream and sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel ice cream. Stunning, just stunning. Price: For this food absolutely spot on. I would pay this again gladly for such a sensational taste explosion. Service: polite, loving, kind, caring, on time just when you need them. We had two waitresses and the manager who took direct care as one of us has a nut allergy. Consulted and helped all the way. Simply put, we are now planning weekend trips to try everything on the menu.

I'm not entirely sure where to begin... We've visited The Dorset Burger Company a few times over the years, as we were recommended it by a friend - and each time it hasn't lived up to their hype. Along with my burger I've tried the beef patty plain and in comparison to other burgers I've had (ranging from USA, Italy, Spain, Czech, Poland - everywhere I go 😅) it has lacked seasoning each time - thus making it pretty tasteless, I'm not sure what they add to the burger patties - it looked like shredded carrot, it doesn't add to it whatever it is. If you try this place take it as you will, but when a takeaway burger joint opens up a few doors down and is busier, then you know what's what. Chips and onion rings are pretty normal, not homemade. And the Burger buns were abit stodgy and could do with an option of being toasted. I wouldn't recommend trying this place, but if you're undecided, you have to! To make up your own decision. Service was fast but it was quieter when we visited, and they seem very set on your 2 hour time limit. A few reviews mention other burger chains in Dorset, that are definitely worth a visit when you're nearby. Nowadays though every burger place; places too much necessity on toppings, rather than the Patty. Good luck 🤞🏼

The Dorset Burger Co. Coke pint, (flat, replaced without ice) Pepsi max half(was flat, changed to bottle) Water Budweiser pint The American Burger x2 - huge amount of meat with bacon and cheese, well cooked and full of flavour. One of our party was a little unsure about the mustard, I thought it was nice. Grilled chicken - a quite dry, but tasty Vegan veggie burger.- bit mushy(?) Fell apart easily. Flavour was good, although a bit sweet. Onion rings- best on this trip. Good access for wheelchairs, with many tables high enough to allow knees under. Spread over four rooms. All very roomy, back room and bar being the largest, middle rooms without the rather too powerful ceiling fans. Chairs and tables a mish mash of reclaimed. Friendly staff, exchanged drinks with no bother. Food so good we decided to have desserts! Strawberry sundae Chocalate sundae Unfortunately there were no vegan options apart from sorbets. Both sundaes suffered from having too much fudge brownie(?) Overall this was the best meal of our three day trip to Weymouth; friendliest staff and most satisfying meal. Total cost : £63.30 Sandwich board outside says that Dogs are welcome. P.S. Coleslaw was very nice, would've liked a bigger portion.

The place is absolutely massive!

Food was absolutely fantastic, delicious in fact! Burgers were very flavourful and the seasoned fries that came with the burger are perhaps some of the best I've ever tasted! Drink prices were also reasonable!

A few small issues, one of which being that some of the padded seats had a lot of stains and could really do with a wash. Had to also send a burger back as it was uncooked/raw in the middle. However, as the burgers were so good this wasn't too much of a problem and didn't impact the experience!

My main gripe, and the only reason I can't give a 5 star review is that when it came to paying, the service was absolutely dreadful! To say their WIFI was something to be desired for would be a huge understatement. The portable card reader was out of range so we had to pay at the bar after we tried twice at the table to get the transaction to go through. They said they accepted android/samsung pay/ contactless but not Apple, as for some reason that didn't work. I tried paying on my Samsung S3 smart watch, my Samsung s6 and even on my friends HSBC contactless card and the payment would not work at all! So issues with WIFI payment readers and processing actual transactions. I would suggest they invest in a new series of WIFI repeaters to ensure the whole restaurant is covered and to update/replace their card machines!

Other than that, it was a great experience! Reasonable price, great atmosphere, and the food was fantastic. The best burger joint I have ever visited! Staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful! Would definitely visit again if I end up in...

This place used to be really good but this time we were disappointed. Firstly the drinks. I ordered a diet coke which arrived and tasted like 35p budget cola which was flat and disgusting. I asked for a lemonade instead. The waitress didn't even ask why. The lemonade was just as bad. Had no taste and I didn't even finish it.

The food arrived and looked exciting. However that was short lived. My nephew had the kids beef burger and chips which were beyond dry. He didn't eat the burger but attempted to eat the bun. This was also dry and he found 3 beard hairs on his plate so he refused to eat anymore.

My burger was dry and overcooked. The onion rings were soggy and my bun was dry. Strangely, they seem to have put a large amount of grated carrot in the beef burger which just made me think they were bulking out the mince to make it go further. My sister had the chicken burger which was cooked well but she also found beard hair in her food.

The chilli jam was delicious as was the coleslaw. But not enough to justify the amount I paid for this substandard food. The atmosphere was pretty dull too.

Maybe I am spoilt as I come from Bristol which is fast becoming the burger capital of the UK. All the burger joints there are a million times better and a lot cheaper.

Given the response I had when I asked to swap my drink I really couldn't be bothered to complain. I looked in the kitchen on the way out and there was a guy with a beard in there with no hair net on his head or his beard. I won't be returning. I wish we...
