A fantastic arcade and fairground! It’s the first one I’ve seen that uses a payment card system to store your credits and tickets, which makes everything so much easier than scrambling for pound coins. Just a note — the card only works in this arcade, as the others along the esplanade still use their own systems (tokens, cash, etc.). There are a good handful of rides for younger kids — my two girls went on everything at least a hundred times! Inside, the arcade is packed with the latest machines and games, so you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll get hooked on. The only downsides were that it’s a bit tricky to get around with a pushchair (understandable given how busy it is), and the ticket feeder machine wasn’t syncing properly with the arcade card system — the screen was blacked out for some reason.

A good bit of fun especially on a Thursday night, not busy at all not on peak season so we had a calm and fun experience, only one machine wasn't working and the amount they have here certainly didn't disappoint. The staff were attentive and were security roaming very consistently, always good to see that even when quiet they keep up standards. Finally a claw machine paid out too! The card system they use also gives a good value, we put on £20 and got £26 worth of spending on the machines and games, the 18+ area also has a good variety of choice so the adults won't get bored! Roulette is my game of choice I've never been a fan of pressing a button and hoping objects line up. Plus being right next to the beach and the sand sculptures, it's a fun part of Weymouth to visit this time of year!

Best arcade in Weymouth. Next to beach ⛱️ it has fair ground, arcades, 2p slots, win tickets for prizes, claw machine. Alot of amusement machines. Easy use fair ground with tokens and cash machines. Kiosk to cash in your tickets. Toilets and food here to.

Disgusting attempt to keep young kids 2+ safe. The pirate ship has left my child completely traumatized after the ride and during the rides venture. After being strap in next to his younger cousin happily to next hearing distressing sound of crying a shocking discovery was made by his dad and other family members that his seat belt that should have been check over by staff and should have personally strapped the kids in from the staff came easily slipping out of place from what should have been across his body to it swiftly finding itself tight on and across his neck . If my partner wasn’t on the ship with them and my little boy hadn’t cried out for his dad from the discomfort, pain and suffering he was left feeling this could have been fatal. Choking hazards are no joke. I dread thinking what could have happened had my future sister in law and mother in law had not been there to witness it together with his dad and hadn’t they made the staff stop the ride when they did. They both made many attempts to warn the one staff who was in charge of the ride while they were fortunate to be standing outside of the ride. They found the staff who they were communicating to be lacking urgency and care to the severity to the situation. No remorse or apologetic action from staff after getting the kids out and when warned that they needed to safely stop the ship. They were rude and dismissive towards my family members and was reluctant to stop the ship. No child or parent/ family members should have to suffer from the negligence and ignorance of its staff and from the lack of health safety the people who are in charge of this ride that was carelessly put out on the pavement for the public to use for entertainment for the public’s kids to enjoy. I hold the people and it’s staff fully accountable for this disgusting act of public safety and kid friendly entertainment. I hope this complaint helps other parents prevent what they couldn’t for us… Safe and happy kids enjoying a...

We came on Saturday afternoon, we were having a wonderful time, all the ride staff were being soo helpful and ever so lovely.., especially Nigel, who was amazing guy. We came with our grandson and were struggling to find rides for him to go on, but Nigel allowed me, to go on a ride with him, now I’m not very tall being under 5ft and not very big., I got on the ride no problems at all, all was safe with our grandson, Nigel made sure, all was good! My grandson had amazing time on the ride..! After the ride was finished one of the other staff members came over, we did not catch his name, but he had very long hair! He had came over to talk to Nigel , it was disgraceful and disgusting the way he talk to him, no one should ever be spoken to like but not only that, he did it front of the public, if Nigel had broken some rule, we apologise, we never wanted to get any one in trouble,. But he made our afternoon, but was a complete downer watching a man who generally cared, and was just trying to help a little boy have some fun, get spoken to this way! Nigel we thank you sooo very much! A memory that will stay with us forever as it was he first ever ride!! Other than this we had a great time we spent nearly...

I recently visited Alexandra Amusement Park in Weymouth and had a great time. The parks has a small selection of rides suitable for younger children.

The small park and indoor amusements was well-maintained and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The rides were also well-maintained and felt safe, which is always a top priority for me when visiting amusement parks.

One downside of my visit was that the park was quite busy and the queues for some of the more popular rides were quite long. However, the wait times were manageable and the staff did a great job of keeping the lines moving smoothly.

Another highlight of my visit was the food options available at the park. There were several food stands and a cafe with a great selection of snacks, drinks, and meals that were reasonably priced.

Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Alexandra Amusement Park in Weymouth to anyone looking to entertain the kiddies for an hour or 2. The park offers a small variety of rides, as well as tasty food options and a friendly atmosphere that makes for a...
