Bed & Breakfast/ Georgiana's Guest House — Hotel in London

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in London this past week. To say it went well would be an absolute understatement! I last stayed with Georgiana at her lovely guesthouse in 2017, and had fond memories of the delicious breakfasts, amazing service, and genuine care which she had towards her guests. My memory clearly served me well as this second time around was even better than the first.

Georgiana AND her daughter Julia, who were both taking care of us, and went absolutely above and beyond. Every single day we were treated with customized breakfasts, drinks of our choice, and awesome advice on where/what to do each day. When I say they went above and beyond, I mean it. Not only did we have delicious breakfasts, but we found cheese boards and wine waiting for us when we came back in the evenings. We spent many nights just hanging out and talking like old friends, which I have NEVER experienced at any other place we've stayed at.

Beyond the amazing service and care, their home is beautiful. Modern, very clean, and cozy; I felt more comfortable than at any traditional hotel or bed/breakfast. They tidy up every day and even went as far as doing my laundry which was super helpful given how lightly I packed.

The location is also perfect. I'm a massive Chelsea FC fan, and Stamford Bridge is merely a 10 minute walk away. Georgiana and Julia will be sure to let you know all the spots to go to before/after match day if that happens to be in your itinerary.

Safe to say our choice of staying with Georgiana was a good one and we're itching to go back. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the London area (Neither would my wife after this stay). We feel like family when we're there and could not recommend staying...

What a lovely guesthouse and Georgiana was the perfect host! I stayed here this week for one night whilst travelling with work. Where I would normally stay in hotels, I was pleasantly surprised when my travel department booked me into such a warm and welcoming guesthouse.

I was welcomed at the door and shown my room ensuring I was happy, and then offered a complimentary glass of wine or beer. The room was a lower ground en-suite, which was well equipped with large tv with Netflix, Wifi, tea and coffee facilities, bottled water and biscuits. The room was immaculate with warm and homely decor, with access to an outside private area. The bed was very comfortable with very high thread count bedding and plump pillows. The shower was powerful and the bathroom was spotlessly clean.

As I was the only guest staying this evening, I spent the evening enjoying a lovely conversation with Georgiana and Romica, who couldn’t do enough to ensure I had a lovely stay. Georgiana went absolutely above and beyond what would have been expected and her hospitality amazing.

Breakfast was amazing, I opted for Greek yoghurt with fruit and coffee as I was up and out early. This was ready for when I left my room and was in abundance.

In summary, I felt very welcomed into Georgianas lovely home, was really looked after, had a lovely evening, slept like a log and felt fresh and ready for work the following morning. This is the home from home you definitely wouldn’t get in a hotel. And, it really feels good to support an independent business rather than the corporates. Thanks once...

Super Guest House to visit London. The house of Georgiana is very pretty and very pleasant, a haven of peace! This is the typical English house with a garden, not really big, but filled with flowers and vegetation with pretty trees, very relaxing! It's really nice, the morning at breakfast, from the very pretty kitchen, dining room, listening to the song of the birds and admiring the flowers, while one sips the excellent English breakfast prepared by our hostess, who puts a point of honor to make us taste every day very British specialties: differents omelettes, soft-boiled eggs with mushrooms, special sausages and bacon, and a yogurt with crispy muesli and red berries .. very good, with, of course, fruits , orange juice, jams and all kinds of tea and the famous scones. In short, I do not eat much in the morning, I feasted because everything is of excellent quality and very digestible. Thank you Georgiana for these excellent breakfasts. The room is very nice: it overlooks a skylight with very pretty flowers and plants and a chair to relax in the open air. The beds are comfortable. No need to bring your shampoo or your body lotion: everything is provided, even the bathrobes. In the room, welcome tray with fruits, sweets and biscuits. And thank you for all the good addresses and the ideas of visit which saved us a lot of time. Thank you also for your warm welcome over a glass of good red wine and cheese.
