AVOID AT ALL COSTS!||We had booked 5 nights at the hotel for £420, which at first of course we thought it was a steal! We were sadly mistaken.||We arrived at the hotel at about 8:00 am, to which we dropped our bags off. We were happy with this as some hotels wont keep bags before check in, however, we soon discovered that the bags and cases were kept outside the 2 downstairs rooms for anyone to see and go through. Luckily we had locks on all our bags, but in most cases, people wont!||We came back to check in at about 3:10 pm, the man at the desk was fine he helped us with our bags as he knew he was sending us up a very narrow, steep and long flight of stairs. We were in room 22 at this point. The rooms were so close together you could barely fit our cases through without bumping into next doors.||Here's where the nightmare begins. The room at a glance looked fine, bar the lack of space. We began to look around and realised it was far from fine.||We inspected the bed first where we were met with long curly black hairs on top of the duvet and on the pillows, on further inspection, we lifted up the duvet covers and were met with not only more hair but very suspicious stains on the sheets and on the comforter.||When i went to wash my hands and dry them, the towel rail dismounted the wall because it was just placed on from a previous break!||The curtains above the headboard were covered in black mold and the windows latch was not properly secured! (we have contacted London's fire service as this is NOT standard fire procedure and safety).||After going down to reception to ask for some sort of refund or room change we were met with arrogance and a complete unbothered attitude. We were told to leave and come back in an hours time and the room will have been cleaned for us.||||Upon returning back to the hotel we went back into the room to be met with the same linen and just a fruity smell that had been sprayed.||||Although we asked for a refund the lad on the desk seemed very annoyed when asking for some sort of reimbursement or out money back as a whole to the hopefully look for a new hotel. They changed our room after a great deal of hassle where the room was slightly bigger but now there was a breeze coming through the window to which we had to keep the portable plug in radiator on at all times just to keep the room at a moderate temp. We also noticed that the "double bed" was in fact 2 single beds pushed together as we found out when laying down. Every now and then either one of us would wall down the middle gap or the beds would start rolling across the room as the wheels weren't fixed.||There was also no toilet roll in the room. After 2 days of not receiving any in the "turn around service" we had to ask for some toilet roll at the desk where the older man looked at me and replied "what" " you mean toilet paper" with a sarcastic tone and smug face.||||The hotel also states it has breakfast and a restaurant in which it DOES NOT. It doesn't even have a waiting room or vending machine.||||One morning after the "turn around" the bed wasn't even made nor was toilet paper even placed in the bathroom.||||Oh yes not to mention non of the rooms have lock on||||Iv stayed in some dirty Army accommodation in my time and would rather pitch a tent for the 5 days then stay in this...
Read more“Stay Away from This Hotel! Rude Management & Filthy Rooms”
I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, things were off, but we decided to give it a chance. Big mistake.
Rude and Unprofessional Owner The owner is by far the rudest person I’ve encountered in the service industry. I had some questions about our room rate and amenities, and he responded with nothing but attitude, rolling his eyes, and speaking to me as if I were bothering him for daring to ask. His tone was hostile, and he even raised his voice, telling me, “Take it or leave it.” I was completely shocked by his unprofessionalism and lack of basic courtesy.
Unclean Rooms Upon getting to our room, we found it in terrible condition. It looked like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in ages. Dust covered every surface, the sheets had stains on them, and there were even a few hairs left on the pillowcase. The bathroom was worse—grime coated the shower floor, and there was a terrible smell coming from the drains. I even found mold on the bathroom tiles. When I tried to address these concerns with the owner, he dismissed it, saying, “It’s just a little dust,” and didn’t offer any assistance or even an apology.
Noisy and Uncomfortable The walls are paper-thin; you can hear everything from the next room and the hallway. To top it off, the bed was rock-hard, and the pillows were so flat, it felt like sleeping on cardboard. We barely got any sleep because of the noise and discomfort.
Broken Amenities The website promised free Wi-Fi, but the connection was so poor that we couldn’t load a single page. When we called down to report this, the owner just said, “Wi-Fi is free, so what do you expect?” The TV didn’t work, and the AC unit was so loud that we couldn’t use it at night, even though the room was hot and stuffy.
Poor Location and Inconvenient Policies The hotel’s location is far from anything interesting, and public transportation options are limited. To make matters worse, the check-out policy is overly strict, and they’ll charge you extra for every minute you’re late.
Lack of Security Another concerning issue was the complete lack of security measures. The doors to the rooms felt flimsy, and there wasn’t even a latch to secure it from the inside. Anyone could just barge in. When I brought this up with the owner, he shrugged it off, saying, “We’ve never had issues, so don’t worry about it.” It was alarming and made me feel unsafe throughout my stay.
Final Verdict: Stay Away Unless you enjoy staying in dirty, poorly managed hotels where the owner treats guests with disdain, I would advise you to avoid this place at all costs. For the price they’re charging, there are far better options with better management and clean rooms. I will never return, and I highly advise others to avoid this...
Read moreWhere to start!! We were put into a very tiny box room attached to the office. Paid £700 for four nights. On check-in we were told you can only have one card key between both for you. We said this wasn’t suitable as we were going out together but coming back at different times. “No” replied the younger Asian man. We said it again and once again he just replied with the word no.
The room is nothing like the picture and were easily misleading. The Internet didn’t work for the first 40 hours.
The shower was blocked and the bathroom cabinet had not even been cleaned as loads of open samples of foundation were wiped and left all inside.
The hotel also offer a luggage Holden service that they then think it’s completely suitable an acceptable to place the suitcases directly outside our door! I tripped over these twice and told the reception it’s a fire risk and I wanted them moved. She refused.
that night when I came back earlier than my friend I was told by the older Asian man on reception that he wouldn’t be allowed to swipe me in without the key card (even though we were told it’s one key cards per room) he eventually let me in when I recorded it and said I was going to be sending it to the booking website.
The next morning we woke up to even more bags outside our room including loads of takeaway food that my friend accidentally trampled on (it was directly outside our door with no warning at all).
The hotel was an extremely poor condition, we were given mini micro towels and shower towels for drying, The bedding wasn’t overly clean and whatever you do do not look behind the bed!!!!
Absolutely horrendous hotel with rude family staff that can no longer be bothered to put in the effort to make anyone’s experience a nice day.
This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in in the past four years (i’ve stayed in 45+ hotels due to...
