I thought I would give you a read of my message to the hotel…
Good Morning,
I hope you’re well,
Your colleague gave me your email yesterday so I could be in contact. I have also contacted booking.com and wish to go further should I need to about our experience Over the last few days.
We arrived in the morning of 20/10 to some very rude staff that just didn’t have a clue what was going on, kindly they said we could leave our bags which was fine and check in later. We arrived back at 5pm to check in and were told there were no rooms and we were to wait in the lobby, fine we were told 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes I returned and asked been as though check in should have been 2pm and the women clearly wasn’t coming to get us, she then gave us two rooms quite easily which was strange.
So we were given room 146 which was 2 single beds pushed together, not even zipped after I paid for a double…our friends were told to go to the other building to their room and they walked in on two women changing as they had double booked it…I mean wow! The least your staff could do I apologise and they couldn’t even do that.
We asked for our room to be made a double and they would send housekeeping, did they? Probably still haven’t now. We rang every option on the phone, even on my phone to the hotel and they didn’t answer.
There was one lady that I thought was brilliant on checking on who helped us give us your email, however the rest of the staff I would really check their competence, one guy doing the baggage storage I would suggest giving his P45 as he was shocking, rude and didn’t know what he was doing. He helped check us out and 20 minutes later asked if we had checked out?
I will be taking this further if I haven’t had a response today as the competency at your hotel isn’t there, your shouldn’t be operating with a service like that.
Oh one final thing, our friends room they had false eye lashes in the remote, stuck. So housekeeping are clearly just as bad.
Thanks for reading my email and I hope to hear back from you today with a response of a...
Read moreI basically became very cold and sleep deprived on my vacation because the vent pumped cold air, even when I set the temperature really high. I complained to the front desk that it was pumping cold air through the vent when I turned the temperature up, and they kept telling me they set the temperature to 27 degrees celsius, but the vent would always pump cold air no matter what.
In total I think I went to the front desk four separate times over the span of two days, frustrated over the issue. It wasn't until the second day that one helpful employee came to the room, felt the air for himself, and then moved us to a separate room where the heater was working correctly. The second room was fine, but it didn't have a phone with a button to call the front desk unfortunately, so if I needed anything I had to get to the front desk.
Other than my sleepless nights, I thought the rooms were fine: the TV worked, the showers were nice, the beds were nice. Some of the buttons obviously didn't work: like the AC or the button to heat the bathroom floor. I lost the energy to do a lot of things at night mostly because I had bad sleep here. If you don't mind the cold, you'll probably be fine here. If you're sensitive to the cold like me then this might not be the right option for you.
For management: you might be able to solve the problem just by bringing a portable radiator into the rooms because the HVAC style heater doesn't really work that well for either of the two rooms that...
Read moreJust checked in - ground floor room, tiny bed with sinking in mattress, some smell (not awful but still), and BLACK MOLD in the bathroom (on the walls and celling!)... also bathroom floor is not that clean and my pillow had somebody's long black hair inside the pillow cover thankfully not outside. Everything looks old, reception guys seem nice, let's see how they will respond tomorrow to the mold situation. UPD I raise one more star up for the very nice guy at the reception who seemed to honestly trying to help and showing compassion. Turned out our room was an upgrade that we were not told about at the check in time so the only change we've been offered is a tiny tiny room. And we decided to stay in ours (cause the mold was only in the bathroom)though I'm not very happy about it. They promised to do a proper clean up of everything. I appreciate the effort. UPD2 after we came back the room was aired properly (I thought it's impossible to open the window but they did it) and the ceiling of the bathroom was quite clean which is way better. Also they left us an apology letter with bottle of wine and chocolate. Very...
