I ordered several vegetarian items from this place, including veg fried momos. When the food arrived, I tried one and immediately felt something was wrong to my shock, it was actually chicken, despite the box being clearly labelled veg. This is not just a careless mistake; it’s a complete failure to respect customers’ dietary and religious needs.
As an Amritdhari Sikh, I follow a strict vegetarian diet as part of a sacred spiritual vow. Being Amritdhari means abstaining from meat, alcohol, and other forbidden substances. This is not a preference or a minor detail, it’s a deeply held religious commitment that was utterly disrespected.
I called the restaurant immediately, hoping for accountability. Instead, the lady who answered brushed it off, saying, “It’s not my fault, it’s the kitchen staff.” That response is unacceptable. They should have a system in place to prevent such gross errors, especially when it concerns religion and food safety.
The next day, I received a call from the manager apologising. While I appreciate the apology, it falls painfully short. There was no offer of a refund or any real attempt to make amends. This experience has shattered my trust completely, I no longer feel safe ordering food from outside, which is incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
Because of this grave mistake,I have to go pesh as I feel disgusted. I hoped never to face again due to someone else’s negligence.
What happened may seem trivial to some, but for me, it was deeply traumatic. I strongly advise all vegetarians, and especially all Amritdharis, to avoid this place. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes full responsibility and implements strict measures so this never happens to...

Read moreRecently had a group of 12 visit. Despite a early booking at 6:00pm in an otherwise empty restaurant,After a 20 minute wait we had to send one of our party to request for the drinks order to be taken. when served and after tasting our drinks we found that the mango lassi was filled with artificial colours and flavouring. We called the waitress and asked her to take the drink back and ordered a standard coke (she did not look surprised or argue that the drink was freshly made). 30 minutes later the starters were served and unbelievably ALL paneer dishes were OFF!! When complained the waitress asked "should I get you another one?" (Suggesting we should really be satisfied with what we had) later in the evening when mains were served to our shock horror the chicken was so raw it almost flew off the plate!! The waitress was of no help, we then resorted into confronting a waiter regarding the standards of food served. The waiter kindly offered to make a new chicken dish which had been cooked through. After all this we decided to finish our meal off in another restaurant. 1 week later 5 of our family members are still recovering from food poisoning. Would not recommend, anybody who is 'brave' enough visit should check their health insurance and ask for a copy of the food hygiene certificate. - although we had paid £240.00 for our meal we all wish we had eaten...
