We enjoyed this hotel. Conveniently located in Paddington a few blocks from the Underground and bus stops that will take you anywhere you care to go in London...rooms and bathrooms were small but that was to be expected. Lots of inexpensive resterants for dine-in and take-away within walking distance. Housekeeping staff at the hotel was lacking...had to request toilet paper having run out in our room twice. Used towels were picked up but fresh towels were not left....front desk staff quickly took care of both issues. Housekeeping staff also left dirty bedding and cleaning supplies in the hallway after cleaning 1 day during our stay making it difficult to go down the narrow hallway. We experienced an issue with another guest smoking in the hotel causing some health issues to my allergic daughter, front desk staff was apologetic and did their best to resolve the situation ultimately asking the other guest to leave after a 2nd offence. Biggest issue was an unresolved plumbing issue in our room that wasn't fully buttoned up. Being a property manager myself not a huge deal to me but may have been to other guests. They ultimately offered us a 2nd room for our last night after 2 days of maintenance in our room. The new room was on 5th floor and allowed us to keep our luggage in our original room on the 1st floor. Overall a pleasant stay and fantastic front desk staff that addressed issues timely when they came about. I would stay here again if traveling in the area.

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. Location is great, 5 min walk from Paddington station where you can travel to and from Heathrow airport (express line Elizabeth line). 10 min walk to Hyde Park and from there heart of London. Hotel is good breakfast is enough depending on visitors eating habit. Rooms are clean small but enough, depending again on expectations. We had private bathroom and clean as other hotels. Personally, loved it even though we were there for sightseeing of London. Staff lovely, guests were little noisy and ain’t hotels fault. Surrounding full of restaurants and pubs. So, quiet streets compared to Oxford street. Believe me if you want to travel from the airport to here, express line in 15 min you are in the heart of Paddington station. No cab nor busses needed to go to this hotel. 7/24 guests can go in and out, safe and trustworthy hotel. Waking up early in the morning strolling through Hyde park is the best. So, other negative comments are just what people have as in expectation. We had no problem at all. Thank you.

Alright, bear with me here: for a place that's 4mins away from Paddington station, offering a refreshed living accomodations, included breakfast and good service, this place deserves a 5star rating. It was worth the value we paid. Service was good and efficient. The amenities in our room seemed upgraded, had a Nespresso machine, locker, builtins for USB/c charging, a fan. Bathroom was tiny on theme, but again, efficient with hot water and other amenities. Tiny dings here for the sink not draining properly and the loud, really loud exhaust (or as they call it 'extractor'). And really, it reminded me of train bathrooms. Clean, efficient but cramped. Cons: Typical breadbox room, ours was on the 2nd floor, with a window towards on the street and we could hear the traffic all night. The room would've been perfectly fine for one, two is stretching it a little. Definitely recommend if you're a single traveler or love being in each other's path at most times or want a "romantic" getaway in budget.

2 years ago I stayed at this hotel hotel with my girlfriend and her disabled sister who is in a wheelchair. Before booking we had checked if this hotel was wheelchair friendly and had a elevator. The site said it was a we called the hotel to confirm it again, the staff also confirmed it was possible and we could book a room.

On our arrival we noticed that the hotel was not wheelchair friendly, the lift was too small to fit the wheelchair (child sized) and the hallways way too narrow to maneuver in. Especially in the morning when the cleaners were working. I can understand that some of the laundry needs to be in the hallway but this was just unacceptable, in case of an emergency we wouldn’t be able to quickly evacuate. The Room was a little small for 3 persons, not very proper and there were ongoing renovations on the exterior in the first place but we enjoyed our stay, until the last day. The last day we dropped off our bags and suitcases at the reception around 11 am because our flight was scheduled at 6:30 pm that day. When we came back to pick up our suitcases around 2:30 pm there was a problem. Apparently the room was in a horrible state when we left it and the carpet and mattress needed to be replaced. We were asked to pay a £200 fine right away. I can assure you that our room was clean when we left in the morning. We even put all the trash in a shopping bag so the cleaning staff could take it with them. To back up the story of the dirty room we were handed 3 pictures of a room which was an absolute mess. (we could clearly see that this wasn't our room) There was liquid of some kind all over the sheets, floor and a brown substance on the towels. I can’t imagine any person which could make that kind of a mess in a room, especially not 2 people who carry care for a disabled little girl which is undergoing a big operation in just a few months and wanted to take a last holiday before that . Just the fact that the staff even thinks we are responsible for this kind of mess is absolutely insane. To make it worse we wouldn’t get our bags until we paid the full amount of £200. There was no discussion possible with the employees, they even threatened to call the police. My girlfriend and her sister were stressed beyond anything and in tears because of the hostile environment. because we had to make it on time for our flight (they knew) we've paid the fine and we left. Since that time i have been trying to work things out with the hotel to get our money back, till this very day i have had no luck what so ever. They never responded to emails we have send and never returned our calls when they said they would.

i wouldn't recommend anyone going to this hotel and certainly not with a disabled person, the way they treat people is beyond my belief and i have never experienced this before (and hopefully...

‼️❌❌UNSAFE HOTEL AVOID

Avoid at All Costs – Abusive, Dishonest, and Unsafe

I cannot stress enough how truly HORRIFIC my experience at the Prince William Hotel, Paddington, was. From start to finish, this hotel is unprofessional, unsafe, and abusive.

I was a guest who had recent surgery and uses a walking stick, and I was promised by the supervisor, Mr. Paresh, a verbal agreement for an extra night in a quiet room at no extra cost due to extreme noise and poor conditions the night before instead of refund.

Despite this, the hotel repeatedly backtracked on their promise, lied about the room’s availability, and refused to honor the verbal agreement, claiming in an email “we don’t recognize verbal agreements” — which is legally false under UK law.

Throughout my stay, I was subjected to: • Continuous harassment: relentless knocking/ banging on my door, repeated phone calls, and being told I had to leave before using the room I was promised. They removed my do not disturb sign and slid it through my door this way when police arrived they won’t see it.

I had to call police for assistance as I was scared for my life!

• Aggressive and dishonest staff: staff claimed rooms were occupied or unavailable, even when they weren’t.

• Unlawful and manipulative behavior: they attempted to spin my situation as a “mental health concern” despite me never disclosing anything of the sort while at my door banging continuously to leave my room.

• Physical strain: I was forced to follow staff upstairs while using a walking stick, causing unnecessary pain and risk. • Extreme noise and poor conditions: original rooms were unbearably noisy, hot, and stuffy, making it impossible to sleep.

I had to record and document everything just to protect myself from false claims or harassment.

I also received my refund only after persistent confrontation and written proof, despite the hotel repeatedly threatening to involve police for staying in a room they themselves provided.

This hotel is a NIGHTMARE. Their verbal agreements mean nothing, their staff are unprofessional and aggressive, and they create chaos instead of providing hospitality.

They will lie, backtrack, and try to manipulate guests. I have video evidence and email proof of all interactions, so I am posting this review to warn anyone considering this place.

PLEASE LADIES Do not stay here unless you want to risk being harassed, lied to, physically strained, and stressed beyond belief.

This is not just a budget hotel — it is an unsafe and hostile environment.

‼️PLEASE LADIES DO NOT STAY HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE SOLO. EVEN IF THERES TWO OF YOU, this is an UNSAFE HOTEL‼️

Stayed here on the 25th of June, friendly reception and easy check in....We booked a triple room looked nothing like the pictures....went 2 the lift 3 of us squashed in like sardines....Went into room curtain closed and window wide open? Boiling hot as radiator was on, so I went 2 turn off but it was already off.....told reception they looked at me like oh turn it off then told them it's off they said they would have a look.....anyway we dropped off our stuff and went out. Returned and reception told me it's sorted now....went up 2 room radiator still boiling hot, 3 of us in such a tiny room in the summer and radiator on full??? Anyway got ready 2 go out sweating and uncomfortable.....when I went down 2 reception on our way out 2 theatre I stressed that I couldn't come back and sleep in that room 37 with the heating on please do something about it....on our way out room 38 was open I peeped in and felt the radiator as I was going 2 ask 2 be moved only 2 find radiator boling hot 2....reception staff looked at me puzzled like I was not speaking English...assured me they would deal with it.....on our return new reception staff said its all sorted, felt relieved only 2 find the radiator still boling hot....I gave up hope and endured a horrible nights sleep and 2 awake with a migraine.....ruined my sight seeing tour the next day and my trip overall....you don't expect the heating 2 be on in summer will never stay or recommend this place 2 anyone stay clear and go else where. Rooms are cramped can't even get in or out of bed comfortable better places 2 stay....Very disappointed with stay NEVER...
