La meena cafe — Restaurant in London

So where do I start. I wish there was zero star option for service too. It's a beautiful cosy cafe with some extremely moody person who served me. Seems like she was the owner as when I asked one of the staff working there something she pointed and said ask her. Staff seemed traumatised by her. The way that lady spoke was so arrogant and her body language felt like why are you even here. She had frown on her face the whole time I was giving her my order. . I ordered salmon bagle which also came with a stale salad which I thought wil make me sick. Tea was cold and extremely weak .there were plenty of food choices but if only that lady would listen to what you like and how!!!! Such a big disappoint having breakfast there to start of my day.couldn't even finish my food as service was atrocious.never again I'm visiting that cafe after a traumatising experience there.i visit Paddington often I have never ever have had such a bad bad service ever. I felt I wasted my time and money in that cafe. I wish I took a picture of my food so I could share evidence here...

Absolutely loved La Meena Café. Despite being a small and cosy spot, they were so accommodating for our large group. The place itself is lovely and quaint, with a really welcoming vibe.

The food was fantastic – I had the avocado and egg on sourdough, which was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The chai latte with an espresso shot was perfection – the ideal way to start the day. Price point was very reasonable too.

The pastries were a highlight – the Italian cannoli were to die for (I could honestly eat them non-stop), and the lady serving us, who I think may have been the owner/manager, even gave us one extra to take home, which was such a lovely gesture. The chocolate croissant was also one of the best we’ve ever had.

They also have a couple of seats outside, which on a nice day would make for a really charming and romantic spot. Honestly, the only regret is that we didn’t find this place earlier in our stay in London. Highly recommended, and we’ll...

Lovely café, came here for lunch with the wife, and enjoyed the set breakfast, meat lasagne, and an egg sandwich to go. Food was tasty and came in a timely manner and the staff were quite friendly. For our drinks, I enjoyed a lovely mocha and my wife had a delicious berry smoothie.

It's obvious that the café is kept in a very clean state by the staff. As we were eating, I could see one of them very deligently cleaning one of the juice machines. I always really appreciate seeing this this as it makes me feel at ease about the safety of the food; as the kitchen is probably kept in a similar state.
