HAIR/STRINGS IN FOOD.

After being a customer for many years and bringing by people of circle to this restaurant, I regret to report this negative review. After waiting in the queue for 30 mins whilst other people were given a table before me, this was not the issue for me. We ordered our food from their set menus to one of their waiters hoping that our food should be on the grill. After waiting 40 minutes approximately for our food, our food arrived with one dish missing. The confused staff were not aware of the missing order and advised that it is running late despite the dish was one of the simplest dish (No.10). After waiting 20 minutes for the missing dish, it was delivered by the owner with no apology. I was confused why there was a delayed however my hunger blinded my frustration and I continued to eat my food. Having dug in with my fork, I pulled out a what looked like a white hair which pulled out (felt like an eternity) and I stopped. I dropped my fork with disappointment and took the plate to the owner while everyone around me staring (I wonder what wrong with his food). I told the owner of my discovery which he responded immediately that he has no staff with white hair and it's not meant to be there. I felt like he was addressing an accusation for a plot to ruin his business. He put his hand in the rice and pulled out further hair and commented 'its not a hair, its a string from the rice bag'. As he pulled a long strings, the fork in the rice fell and grabbed everyone's attention. I said regardless whatever it is, it should not be there, he responded saying 'there is nothing we can do, it has happened, what else do you what me to do about it'. As a successful business owner, he thinks he is prestigious and has forgotten how to treat his long term customers. Having given the dish back, he did bring the same dish but has replaced the rice. Now to me, that seems very unhygienic as the stings of rice may have contaminated the rest of the food (I stupidly ate the meat because my hunger demands, looking back writing this review, I regret that decision). After concluding the experience with the fellow family members, we went up to pay for the bill which was reasonably priced and noted the person at the till handed us the receipt. We studied the bill and noted a discrepancy on the bill where some of the food was added which we had not ordered, We gave this bill back to the cashier and he said ' I told to you to check it', in my mind, I thought how bad can this get? After the owner said, I took the No.10 off which I concluded, it was not even on the bill in the first place hence why they had forgotten and brought it out late. In conclusion, had the staff had been transparent and accepted the responsibility of all the fiasco happened that even, I would have given a better rating as I do not like people who accept responsibility. As to improve future business practices and the efficiency of the restaurant, I would suggest the staff should check with every table at each interval of the meals eating experience (like Nando's do) to ensure customers...

The ONLY restaurant where 'optional service charge' is mandatory. I hadn't been here for a few years but Its not how i remember it. Oh And ITEM CHECK YOUR BILL.

Now the only reason we chose NOT to pay service is because....they made several mistakes. In particular, when taking our order, which was straight forward. Oh and persian bread for starter dips is chargable 🤔 so how do you eat the dip? (Never ordered the dip before but hey its bread) With that in mind we said bring the dip with the £75 platter for 4 and we were told can have 4 rice or 3 rice and 1 bread. So we went with the latter. We also asked for some salad with the platter. They gave a slightly marinated mix of cucumber and tomato's....in a WHAT I CAN ONLY DESCRIBE AS A SMALL MUFFIN SIZE BOWL. Like the kind of little bowls you get onions in at an old style Indian restaurant when you order popadums. It was basic at best AND we only realised it was chargable when we got the bill. In fact they CHARGED £8 FOR IT!!! It's an absolute joke. Anyways. The dip never came, the platter did. It looks big and it is. But is it value. I'm not sure. We ate. We asked for the bill. Magically THERE WERE several ITEMS WE HAD NEVER ASKED FOR OR ORDERED added to the bill Mistakes happen and its ok. But then to be rude/arrogant about takign the incorrect items off is cheek. I also find it cheeky to tell customers 'the owner has said optional service charge is mandatory in THIS restaurant' is just plain rude. It's a customers choice whether to pay service in any establishment whether its written on a menu or not. Hence why its called optional. There is no requirement to pay service. I ADD A SIMPLE PHOTO FROM GOOGLE FOR THE OWNERS EDUCATION, or at least the miserable waiter behind the desk to understand. Especially where several mistakes were made and the service was basic at best. On to the food. It's was delicious as always. I'm not sure £75 for the platter is worth it given its just that and nothing accompanying it but rice. And there are many other options that are better service. There is ONE across the road and there are Turkish places that offer similar fare locally. It's a shame because the food was good. Will I be back. Perhaps, but it won't be for the platter or...

I recently visited Persian Palace restaurant that left much to be desired. The atmosphere was overwhelmingly loud due to the football game blaring on every screen, making conversation nearly impossible. To make matters worse, the food was a major disappointment. The lamb cubes were shockingly old, leaving a sour taste in my mouth. The overall experience left me feeling unsatisfied and frustrated with the service and quality of the meal.

Add to the above that any changes, any requests we've had, it was at an extra charge. Like having a diferent type of rice, like changing the lamb minced for lamb cubes, they asked for additional £10 just to change the meat from minced lamb to lamb cubes. Very disappointing, not once we have been asked if our food was okay. The table next to us, they came with their own whiskey, they took their own whiskey and poured it into a glass and they were drinking there. Very, very disappointing place to not eat there.

In addition to the already disappointing experience, the restaurant’s policy of charging extra for any changes or requests was frustrating. Even simple requests like substituting lamb cubes for chicken came with a hefty £10 surcharge. What’s worse, not once were we asked if our food was satisfactory.

To top it off, the table next to us brought their own whiskey, openly pouring and drinking it without any intervention from the staff. Overall, it was an incredibly disappointing place to dine, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Despite the pleasant demeanor of our waitress, the rest of the staff exhibited unprofessional behavior. They were more focused on the football game, with the TVs blaring loudly throughout the restaurant. When their favored team scored, the entire staff erupted in cheers, showing a lack of consideration for the guests trying to enjoy their meals. This added to the overall disappointment of the experience and further highlighted the lack of attention to customer...

What can I say about Persian Palace apart from that the food is same as it has been over the years!!!! This place is by far one of my favourite places, if it was closer to where I am, I would probably go every week!!! The food is fantastic. We normally just only get hummus as a starter due to the size of the mains so can't really comment on the others. As for the mains we normally go for the platter as per the picture I posted which feeds 4 people comfortably. All the meats are tender and cooked really well. If you were to go for say a Momtaz or Ghafghazi make sure you have an appetite as they are not small portions. The one thing that did disappoint with the platter was that the rice portions were not the same as I remember but still adequate. The service provided as well is super fast. The waiters come to your table and take your order pretty quick and the food is served super fast. You don't actually wait that long. I have been here with a group of 30 people before and everything was quick and served to a high standard, which is not expected with that many people. I would 100% recommend you go here and try for yourselves. Keep up the great service and food @Persian Palace!!!!

I have walked by this restaurant many years ago and I saw a long queue outside. So on my recent trip to London, I made it a point to go to West Ealing to experience this restaurant with my family. It was our first visit and our first encounter with Iranian cuisines and culture. And we were totally overwhelmed by the wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Although the staff were not good at speaking in English, we could tell that they were genuinely sincere in wanting to make us feel very welcome and to enjoy our food and their service. The hospitality was so good that I would like to visit Iran one day to experience their wonderful Persian culture and civilisation. The appetizer plate came with 5 amazing and generous dips for a bread that was even more amazing that I bought a few home from the nearby Persian supermarket. The two main course we ordered were served with basmati rice very beautifully presented with just enough buttered rice scattered on top to add a touch of yellow to the green lettuce the red tomato on the side. The lamb was tender and the chicken kebab juicy. Nicely balanced with salad on the side. I must go again on my next trip to London.
