We stayed here in June 2024. From the get-go the staff was primarily snobby and rude. The rooms are overpriced and to make things worse, our A/C didn't work. We called about it 3 times and were told "they'll get someone to look at it". They sent a maintenance man out and all he did was look at the thermostat and told us to let the room cool down longer. We had already been there for a few hours. Finally we asked for a fan because we had our 3 month old baby with us and she was hot the entire time. Housekeeping were the only nice people we encountered there. Also our flight was cancelled due to issues going on at the airport and they told us they would not refund any nights missed. So we lost 2 nights. We had an early flight when departing and there was no one at the front desk. There is a sign they leave out to call the number on there for early departures. We kept calling that number and nobody answered. Finally we decided to leave our room keys in the room. When I called back later that day to confirm they got our keys, the girl on the phone was very rude. I asked for a receipt to make sure we weren't charged anything else and it sounded like the girl got bothered I asked her to do that. She had an attitude the whole time while on the phone. Personally I think we paid too much for the rooms, especially since it was hot the entire time. Walking around the premises, we noticed other rooms with fans and windows open the whole time. Would recommend staying at a different location...
Read moreStayed here for 3 nights recently and we absolutely loved it! Great location to walk anywhere in Aspen, the free parking is a huge benefit, and the price was fabulous compared to the other hotels around. We stayed in a fireplace studio and when making my reservation, i requested to be on the top floor facing the mountains with a more recently renovated room. My request was made and the room was perfect! Stainless steel kitchen appliances and granite countertops were in our room, and it was very nicely decorated. We took advantage of fireplace and it was a nice touch in the room. The bathroom was huge, lots of counter space and good quality bathroom products were provided (Gilchrist & Soames London Collection). The pool and patio area outside are nicely maintained and the staff is really nice. City Market (the local grocery) is right next door and very convenient if you need to run over there for anything!
I would definitely...
Read moreThe best thing about Aspen Square is it's location and easy access to every thing in town. Having stayed there 3 times over the past few years I've learned each of the 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom units are owned by individuals, not by the hotel. The studio rooms may be individually owned as well, though I don't know for certain. My recent stay in condo 132 was very disappointing. The furnishings are very dated, everything is brown and simply tired. Cabinets and flooring appear to be original. The furniture to include sofa, chairs, coffee table, end tables, dining table are so, so dated and not what you would expect for an Aspen condo and especially for the rental price. The owner has not invested in any upgrades, in my opinion. I know some condos have been upgraded but there's no way to identify those that have been upgraded when making a...
