Oh, Maddy, dear Maddy, the best river guide, With a paddle in hand and her grin super wide! We set off this morning (a private parade!), Down Roaring Fork waters, not a bit was delayed.

She zigged through the rapids, she zagged every bend, With skills so terrific, we didn’t pretend. She called to the animals, “Hey, please appear!” And out came the critters, so furry, so near.

The beavers were beavering, elk gave a wink, A fish did a backflip (or was that the drink?) A bear on the bank even waved with his paw— I promise, with Maddy, you’ll drop your own jaw!

The water was wilder than Aunt Mabel’s hair, We paddled and splashed without worry or care. Blue skies above us—just perfectly bright, No clouds in the sky to give anyone fright.

She cracked silly jokes that would dazzle The Grinch, My sides still are aching, my ribs have that pinch!

Me and my family went for the first time rafting on June 26, 2018. We wanted to experience something adventurous and out of the box. My wife usually get stressed and worried about this kind of activity, specially that we never did it before, and the only way we could judge such experience was through movies or online videos of rafting which looked scary.

We took the Level III class. Throughout the whole experience we got constant reassurance and confidence from our instructor - QUIN - that was able to unify our group and maneuver our raft in a magical way through the running stream. It was so fun, cool, inspiring that we look forward for more.

Highlight of our Reunion Weekend! Our College Friends Reunion Weekend was so memorable because of Aspen Whitewater Rafting! Not only are they professional and reasonably priced, but so safe and fun at the same time. Our adventure of whitewater rafting on the Roaring Fork River could not be beat. From booking our trip, to our shuttle pick-up, to the fun adventure down the river, snacks and shuttle back to our hotel's front door! We had 2 boats and they did an excellent job keeping us close enough to heckle each other, but distanced enough to get the full experience and adventure! What service and amazing experience these guys/gals provided!! You can tell they love doing this, and do a great job of a priority of safety first!! - but well balanced with so much fun!!!! We all know more about the safety of being on-river now, and we had such an enjoyable weekend because of it - all Thanks to AWR and their great company of guides and staff!
