Miller Sports — Local services in Aspen

I had the worst customer experience of my life at this store. I bought a very expensive jacket and ski pants at Miller Sports. When I tried on my friend’s smaller size, it fit much better. I went back to the store, less than 24 hours later, hoping they could exchange for the smaller size. They had in another store but would take days to arrive. I asked for a refund so I could purchase the same pants, in the correct size, down the street to wear during my four day trip. They refused. Despite the fact that I spent thousands of dollars on a jacket, had friends spend thousands of dollars in their store, the manager, Kevin, said there was nothing he could do as their policy was no refunds. He didn’t even have the courage to stay in the room to have a conversation and ran and hid in the back office, leaving his staff to manage. Ten days later, the pants were supposedly shipped, but still have not arrived and the shipping estimate is now next week. I can’t say enough GREAT things about Miller sports. The staff is amazing. Besides having the highest ski IQ’s in Aspen ( just tell them your level and what kind of skiing you are doing and they will put you on the best sticks for your needs), they bend over backwards to help in anyway they can. From where to watch a football game, best restaurants, even powder stashes ( but shhhhhhh don’t tell anyone). As far as their equipment and ski gear they have the goods (stay away from the monster stores that have too much/over priced gear.) MIller Sports rocks the high performance gear for the Aspen zone, snow and powder and they take care of their guests better than most shops in town. You can always tell by thier dedicated fan base of returning customers coming by to say hello. They really fine tuned the gear to the customer's needs and their ski clothing has the right balance between functional tech and beautiful fashion.
