I am writing to express my profound disappointment and dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your establishment. As a customer, I expect a certain level of service and comfort when booking accommodation, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short of these expectations. First and foremost, I must highlight the utterly disrespectful behavior of the desk clerk I encountered during my reservation process. Their rudeness was unparalleled, and to make matters worse, I was informed just three days prior to my arrival that I could not cancel my reservation without forfeiting the full prepayment. This lack of flexibility and understanding left me deeply frustrated and regretful of not simply losing the money. Upon arrival, the issues persisted. The heating in our room was non-functional, despite my efforts to notify the front desk on two separate occasions. Additionally, despite requesting the sofa to be made into a bed, as directed by your staff, it remained untouched by the cleaning staff, forcing me to spend a discomforting night on a half-prepared couch with inadequate bedding. Furthermore, the basic amenities in the room were subpar. The water in the shower barely reached a tolerable temperature, fluctuating between lukewarm and uncomfortably cold. The bathroom sink was clogged, with unsanitary black debris emerging from the drain. Even the television remote was defective, only functioning when standing directly in front of the TV. As for the breakfast provided, it was nothing short of a disappointment. The quality of the food left much to be desired, with biscuits resembling hockey pucks and a broken waffle iron clumsily propped up with napkins. Overall, my stay at your hotel was a miserable experience. Had I been aware of the extent of the accommodations' inadequacies beforehand, I would have promptly sought alternative accommodation elsewhere. Enclosed, please find photographic evidence of the thermostat and sink issues, as well as my attempts to capture the plaque with the owner's name. It was my intention to address these concerns with the owners directly upon my return home, once I had the opportunity to gather my thoughts and emotions. I trust that you will take swift and appropriate action to rectify these shortcomings and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I eagerly await your response and resolution to this matter. The only saving grace was the location was near my medical appointments. The response from the hotel was a form letter with a no reply address. Not surprised. There was no attempt to come to a resolution.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars, was because several of the jets in my tub didnt work and also the cold water was broken so after I filled it, it took over an hour before it was cooled down enough for me to get in it. I booked this room on Travelocity and it clearly stated that I would be charged for the room at check-in, yet I was charged first thing that morning when I was still on a plane, hours away from checking in. I was also told at check-in, that the $100 hold (no mention of this hold anywhere on my reservation itinerary) would come off at check-out, but then told hours later when I still hadn't seen it in my bank account, that it can take up to 5 business days! Wish I was told that at check-in. I loved the location, the lobby was spacious, beautiful and clean! The room was absolutely gorgeous! It was super spacious, with a large sitting area, super comfy king size bed!! I love that the fridge was built in and had a large freezer and above it, a built in microwave, a real game changer!! The wall unit a/c had a remote which I loved, and it was also so quiet that I couldn't tell if it was running or not! But it worked great and I was comfortable the entire night! For some reason though, the black out curtains didnt go all the way across my window so all I had was a sheer white curtain which provided no real privacy, however being that I was on the 3rd floor, it wasn't really an issue worth complaining about. I was sooo happy to find that not only was their indoor pool/spa area open, but it was open until midnight and was absolutely wonderful after a long day of touring! The absolute best part, was the breakfast!! Wide variety of foods including an oatmeal and cereal bar, hot items like scrambled eggs and fresh mini biscuits with sausage gravy! Also they had bagels, toast and a waffle iron with batter dispenser to make your own fresh waffles! They even had an assortment of toppings, as well as lighter items like yogurts, fresh fruit, and fruit juices! I was so pleased with the breakfast and really couldn't believe there was no additional fee for it! Overall it was a spectacular room/experience especially for such an affordable price and I'd absolutely stay here again! I'm a little sad that I can't stay here for the rest of my vacation but I stayed on a Thursday night and unfortunately can't afford their weekend prices! 😫 Single week-night stay (in king room with couch bed and jetted tub with mountain view) ran me about $220 plus a $100 hold that I've yet to get back.

Not clean at all and very under staffed. I have stayed at many hotels throughout my life. I understand that it's really hard to maintain a clean and high quality hotel when you are understaffed. However, it was very disgusting in all honesty. There were HAIRS in my bed that definitely didn't belong to us. It was long and black. neither of us have black hair. There was BLOOD on one of the pillow cases before we used it. We put that on the floor so we didn't use it. One of the blankets had a large stain right on top. The ceiling had stuff on it. Some of the carpets had stains. The couch cushions were also stained and dirty. The fan in the bathroom had this orange goo on it. I didn't get a picture of the downstairs lobby but it was also very dirty. There were pieces of trash all through the hotel. It didn't look like it had been vacuumed/swept in a very long time. There were clumps of dirt from people's shoes everywhere. Right next to the front door on a small table, there were three disposable cups. I saw them when we checked in. Never once were they moved. They distinctly had liquids in them so who knows how long they've been sitting there. They were there the morning we checked out. I also acknowledge that they were extremely understaffed. Keeping up with cleaning while understaffed is challenging. I only ever saw one or two employees at once. But every time we would come back to the hotel, the front desk was usually empty. The employee was sitting in the lobby in a corner, on their phone watching videos with loud audio. This happened twice with at least 2 people. The reason I know that they were employees was because they had a name tag and I had seen them both previously behind the counter. No one was manning the front desk in the morning when we tried to check out. We had an appointment we had to get to and couldn't wait for long. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes for someone to come to the counter. Another lady who was also waiting to check out ended up calling the front desk and that brought someone up to answer the phone. We were all able to check out and leave afterwards. We will not be returning to this hotel. We will strongly encourage any friends or family planning on going to Aurora area to stay far away from this hotel

Title: A Delightful Stay at Comfort Suites on Colfax

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Comfort Suites on Colfax in Aurora, Colorado, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

The first thing that caught my attention was the incredibly cozy and inviting beds. They were like clouds, providing the perfect level of support and comfort for a restful night's sleep. I woke up each morning feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. The housekeeping staff did an outstanding job of ensuring that every corner of the room was spotless. I appreciated the attention to detail and the meticulous care they took in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay.

The TVs in the rooms were impressive, offering a large, bright, and clear display. Whether I wanted to catch up on my favorite shows or relax with a movie, the quality of the TV made all the difference. It was a great way to wind down after a long day of exploring.

One of the highlights of Comfort Suites on Colfax was its stunning view of the mountains. Witnessing the beautiful sunrises and sunsets against the backdrop of the majestic mountains was truly awe-inspiring. It added an extra touch of serenity to my stay and made me appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

The hotel's location was ideal, with convenient access to a marijuana dispensary, convenience stores, grocery stores, and a bus line. It provided a perfect balance of accessibility and tranquility, allowing me to explore the area easily while enjoying a peaceful environment.

Speaking of tranquility, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the hotel was. Despite its convenient location, Comfort Suites on Colfax provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere, ensuring a restful and uninterrupted stay.

The staff at Comfort Suites on Colfax deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. Kumar, in particular, stood out with his delightful, helpful, and attentive demeanor. He went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction and was always available to assist with any questions or concerns. His friendly and caring approach added a personal touch to my stay.

The complimentary breakfast offered at Comfort Suites on Colfax was simply fantastic. Each morning, I indulged in a delicious spread of eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, three different juices, coffee, bagels, cream cheese, waffles, milk, and bacon. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, starting my day off on a delightful note.

In conclusion, my stay at Comfort Suites on Colfax in Aurora, Colorado, was truly memorable. The comfort of the beds, the cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent TV quality, the breathtaking mountain views, the convenience of nearby amenities, the tranquility of the hotel, the exceptional staff, and the delicious breakfast all contributed to an outstanding experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful and enjoyable...

It was close to the VA medical Facility. Once we walked into the lobby it smelled like some one had just smoked Marijuana. it smelled like that all through the halls and even in our room. We had a disabled room. It looked like there had been towel racks on the bathroom walls that had been ripped down but you couldn't even manage to remove the small brackets on the walls but leave them all scratched up. Same in the bedroom where it looked like a mounted picture or something was on the wall and there were little metal tabs up on the wall just hanging out looking bad. Making me wonder if there was a crime they had just half way cleaned up. I know it is only a few screws or something to remove those and a quick paint touch up goes a long way. speaking of paint it was chipping all over the place and the couch wasn't even clean. it looked like some one very fast just wiped off mashed potatoes from the cushions and didn't actually scrub it out of the fabric. The water pressure also was so weak I was sitting in the shower for a long time rinsing my hair. I am disabled and having to waste what little energy I have just to shower really sucks. I do appreciate the shower actually had a seat on the wall. There are some that is just an open walk in shower with no seat, So a seat is nice. The breakfast was pretty good. The sausage gravy was great for your mini micro biscuits. really they are like 1 bite each. but the availability of hot food was great for the crappy nights sleep we got. How is it that we are in 2024 now and there are millions of disabled travelers, heck your even close to a hospital and still don't have adjustable disabled bed yet? Those flat deflated pillows I could not pile enough behind me because they just go flat after a minute and I had to sleep on the dirty couch just to sleep partially elevated so I could breathe. the couch that was so uncomfortable I had a hard time sleeping for very long having to move ever 30 minutes or so. until I just finally gave up and I woke up with a bruised tail bone. If we didn't need to be close to the VA medical facility and you didn't offer breakfast with a disabled shower that was cheaper than the other high rated hotels around the facility. it would be a no. SPEAKING of money the payment for the room cleared my bank on Feb 2nd. I didn't stay until the 6th and there is now an additional $100 hold from you guys. Really? How long will that hold be there? I literally sat on the bed and couch in pain the entire stay with only showering as an escape from it. I used to be a house keeper so I know we didn't steal or trash the room of any kind. Why do you have to recharge my card and then day of hold another $100. That is...
