I went to have my galaxy S8 repaired. I needed a front and back cover. I attempted to replace myself but it was evident that I was way over my head.
At first Zak was helpful and answered all my questions. He replaced the glass and the ear piece I had brought in for him to use.
After replacing the glass, we noticed the earpiece was not as loud as it should've been. Zak opened it again and sealed it. The second time, he asked me to check the camera which was not working anymore.
5 hours and $265.00 later, Zak informed me that he was 80% sure it was a software problem. He told me to bring the phone back if it didnt work. I went home and tried everything, including a reset restore which resulted in not fixing the problem.
The day after it snowed, I returned to see if he could check it again. He refused and redirected me to another shop, iDeas at the Aurora mall. Zak told me they would be able to do a diagnostic check as it now may be a mother board issue. Mind you, the camera and light worked PRIOR to taking it to Fix It.
I took it to IDeas and they advised me the front camera was damaged due to heat, I never used heat to remove the glass. Zak used heat to open and reseal the glass the second time.
After $80.00 for parts and labor, I called Zak to advise him what had transpired. I wasn't asking for money, but I did ask Zak to work with me. He offered a Otterbox defender as compensation. I agreed and went to pick it up.
Upon my arrival, Zak lectured me that it was my fault and practically called me a liar. I explained that I was just telling him what the texh at the other shop said. He continued to berate me and said I wasn't appreciative of his work. He also complained he was giving me a $50.00 Otterbox (Otterbox defender is $20.00 online). I asked for business cards and he told he didnt want my business, which is fine. I witnessed Zak be rude to elder enquiring about her phone the other day while I waited, sad. Btw, the shop smelled of weed when I went in today. Maybe that's why his emotions were wishy washy. That's common with druggies.
Maybe if Zak wasnt high, he wouldnt be damaging customers phones. I guess this is how Fix It Wireless operates.
So, dont waste your time and money at Fix It Wireless! Go to iDeal at the Aurora mall. They are cheaper, honest, faster, and no drug...

He was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really put me at ease. The repair was done quickly, and my phone is working perfectly again. It's rare to find such excellent customer service these days, but Brandon truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place if you need phone repairs â youâre in great hands...
Read moreSCAMMERS!! When we first came in, we were satisfied with the customer service. The service guy sold us a screen and told us we can bring it back in 90 days if we have issues and they will fix the screen. The next day it was acting up. We took it back and then was told that we had to buy a new screen and and the original price we paid wasn't going to be used as any kind of credit towards it so we ended up replacing the screen twice and being charged over $500. Not cool business. I will never recommend them or take any more...
