This hotel is absolutely horrifying. I have no problem with staying in a cheap crappier hotel but this was way beyond that. The sheets and "comforter" which was literally as thin as a table cloth hadn't been washed since god knows when. Piss stains and so many other stains all over them and didn't even look like they had been attempted to be removed. I felt extremely uncomfortable just walking through the parking lot inside and back out to my car. The environment and people hanging around were just awful...needless to say, leaving my car parked in their lot over night in fear it was going to be stolen. The customer service is also horrible and rude. They are only there to let you in until like 8p.m. then you have to call and request they come to give you your key...not a huge deal but the attitude they have towards you is beyond rude. I wouldn't even give this hotel one star in all honestly....Example....Super 8 is like a 4 1/2 star to me. It looks nothing like the pictures and nothing worked in the room. Also, I left without touching ANYTHING in the room within 5 minutes of entering it and seeing all of this and now 3 days later I still haven't been able to cancel my reservation because no one knows how except one person who is supposedly there in the afternoon however, I have called multiple afternoons - evenings - mornings ect and either no one answers and no answering machine or they don't know how. Which is awesome on the fact of...
Read moreThis place is TRASHY! The carpet in my room was heavily stained and might have been vacuumed; the carpet in the hallway must rarely be vacuumed and there were bits of trash on the floor in the hall. The bathroom floor was a little sticky and the shower was small. The bed was solid and unrelenting, had no mattress pad, and the blanket had cuts in it that appeared to have been made by a knife or scissors. The floors are really thin so you can hear even the lightest of footsteps above you. There are no signs in the hallway to tell you where your room is. I could have sworn I was going to die on the elevator. The wifi crawls at an agonizingly sluggish speed if it ever loads anything at all. The whole place had a feeling of filth that made me not want to touch anything and keep my shoes on to avoid walking barefoot. It's clear that there's a horde of lowlifes who live in this place long term. I was concerned that someone might try to mug me or break into my room to steal stuff. There seemed to be some drama with the residents that the woman attending the front desk was trying to sort out. Check out is at eleven, and even though I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign out on the door, they were pounding on my door at ten to see if I was leaving, and they came back at 10:45 and pounded on the door again to see if I was out yet.
Just keep away...
Read moreI stayed here for 8 weeks in late 2007. It was affordable and they allowed cats. In those 8 weeks though....squirrels running through the attic, false fire alarm on Halloween night, could hear the neighbors making whoppie, construction workers peeing in the parking lot, transvestite prostitute just down the hall shocked one of "her" clients at 4 am and had to hear him scream for an hour, elevator smelled, back door was broken so people without keys could get in from the back, etc. Hey, but is was affordable. The sad thing is that two years later I went back for another stay, but the place had deteriorated so badly that not even my cat was willing to stay there. The headboard was covered in sticky fingerprints, the garbage disposal smelled like vomit, there were blood splatters on the bathroom walls, the carpet was sticky, etc. My poor cat was screaming to get out of there. The manager showed me another room, but it was even worse. She then very nicely gave me my money back and we went across the street to the Extend Stay Hotel, which was around 30% more expensive, but it was very clean and my cat liked it. I gave it more than one star because there was a time when it was a three star place, but...
