I was ready to give this spot 5 stars had I not been bummed with my order. The staff is friendly & all that, the girl @ the counter was kind enough to let me sub hummus on my falafel sandwiches instead of the tzatziki, she pointed out that all the sandwiches even come with fries ON them. This sounded like just what I needed for a quik bite. Until I got home, to find barely any hummus on the pita and NO fries on my sandwiches either. Was really dissatisfied with that, considering I waited about 10 mins to watch a few orders before mine go out the window with plenty of fries in 'em. It wasn't extremely busy. How do you forget to put fries in sandwiches that are always made with fries. Also thought Id share an updated photo of the menu, since it looks as though all the prices have gone up at least a dollar since the last capture of the menu. Would also be nice if they offered tahini on the side like true Mediterranean street food, but luckily I had some at home to drizzle on my partially made sandwich. Could've been better, not sure I'll return.

Take out review: We’ve been going to Gyroz for several years now, mainly the one up on Colfax but now this one as we’ve recently moved to Aurora. Over the last few instances, we’ve found our visit to be pretty inconsistent. The food is good but we find that either a sauce is missing or the food isn’t the same quantity it used to be. Our visit recently was the latter. Here’s what we ordered: Greek salad w/ double chicken Greek salad w/ gyro The pita bread was hot and fresh. But the salad definitely was not overflowing out of the take out box like it used to. The salad also seemed to be not as fresh, not I didn’t feel like I truly got double meat on my salad. All in all, we’ll continue to go to Gyroz. We enjoy it, but this spot hasn’t lived up to the high bar set at the Denver location. Enjoy!

Been a fan of both locations for years, but I have to say, they have lost some stars as of the last year or so. Tonight, I got a salad and asked for extra tzaziki. The last time, they charged me for it and left it out, so I should have checked my bag before leaving, but the tight exit area makes that a bit hard to do when cars are behind, so I trusted them and moved right along. Not only did they again charge me and leave out the tzaziki I ordered, I opened my salad to a big piece of plastic. That and they ask for tips at the drivethrough (which I paid since I want to support workers ). Prices have gone up but the service has gone down. Food is tasty but I'm starting to think I will need to go elsewhere with all these issues.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe you can get food this good from a drive thru! I have driven by this place hundreds of times and was always skeptical because it's fast food greek food. I stopped today and finally gave it a shot, and I am so glad I did. For our family we got 2 gyro sandwiches with feta added, a side of falafel, extra sides of tzatziki, a kid's chicken tenders meal, and baklava. We all ate until we couldn't move anymore. It was so good! Crispy, fresh falafel. Tender, well-sessoned gyro meat. Well-made sandwiches. I have worked in sandwich shops of all kinds for more than ten years and am kinda nit-picky about them sometimes. All the ingredients were laid carefully, the sauce amount was perfect and spread all the way to the edges, the tomatoes were fresh and evenly distributed, and the pita was warm and soft and tasted homemade. The sandwiches were even wrapped really well. One end wrapped tightly with parchment and the opposite side wrapped and sealed with foil. Genius! The kids meal came in the same size box as you would expect an adult sized meal to. It came with 3 decent sized chicken tenders and a TON of fries! There was plenty for everyone to share. The baklava was crispy and well soaked with honey syrup. This place is a new favorite and I very highly...

I have been a long time customer and have recommended this place to many others over the years. It is too bad that their customer service has declined so much. I will not be back. I regularly order the Greek salad with chicken. Over the years the cost for this salad has risen and I have just dealt with it. Recently I noticed that they are only filling the salad dressing container half way. It is plainly not enough for the size of the salad. Today I asked that they either fill the ramekin or throw in a second. I always have to check because they frequently charge me for extra sauce but don’t actually put it in the bag. When I brought it to her attention that she did not fill the dressing container and did not put a second she said she would have to charge me another .75. I had already paid for my food. She and another employee became combative. That salad costs over $20 seems silly to argue over $.75 worth of dressing. At the end of the day if you want to be over charged for your food and treated...
