Hotel was Woodspring Suites when I stayed in 2018 it's 2025 now. This review was for them.
Have been here a few days with my family and service dog after staying at another brand that was much smaller. The price was higher compared to the other but well worth it and still much more affordable than the biggest extended stay chain. The rooms are very spacious, the staff has been nothing but friendly, hallways, and the lot stays cleaned. You can even catch a morning serenade by some of the staff if you're in the lobby early enough. The lobby is separated from the rooms so you don't hear the checkin/out traffic. The facility is very secure and walking distance to a bank, gas station, store, and a fast food chain. Other stores or restaurants just a short drive or bus ride down the street.
Reading some of the other reviews I'm not sure if they realize this is an extended stay, what that means, and if this is the one they stayed in. There are two locations. They do provide toiletries upon coming but if you are staying longer than a few days, bring your own to replace those like most extended stays. Housekeeping is biweekly which they tell you up front but you can exchange linen daily if you need to. Laundry room has working coin operated machines and vending machines, the rooms have a kitchenette with full fridge, microwave, two burner stove top electric range, lots of storage space in bathroom, kitchen, and personal use, a work desk, plenty of outlets, nice sized bathrooms, very comfortable bedding, free direct TV, free local phone, smoke free building, free Wi-Fi, free coffee in the lobby.
This is a pet friendly environment. I rarely hear my neighbors dog and they say the same for me. The rooms have very good sound proofing to me. It's rare to hear anyone outside the door. Every once in awhile the upstairs neighbors you hear dropping something on the floor. I think they have kids, many residents do but none that are running through hallways or being unruly. I don't see loitering on the property.
Sign up for their email and save off your stay. The only reason I didn't give five stars is lack of fitness center or pool. More pictures will be provided soon. They allowed me to book extended terms but pay weekly as I'm not sure how long I need the stay since I relocated to the area but haven't found a...
Read moreWhat a mistake!||I saw the reviews, and some were good and some very bad. Here is my take on this hotel.||First, Check-in was good. As other reviews stated the staff are trying their best. But that is it on the plus side.||The room was very sparce. 1 bed so I had to use the bathroom counter to open my suitcase. No stand was available. The pictures show a comfortable chair to watch TV, but that did not exist. A small area for hanging cloths up was there, not a closet, and they provided 1 hanger. (really) but it goes on. ||If you want the use of anything, plates, it will cost you extra, pots and pans, it will cost you extra. However, I rechecked their site and it states, "Stay Fuled" and then " Fully equipped kitchens in every suite" ||Now get this, if you want shampoo, you have to go to the front desk and actually ask permission to get a fricking little shampoo. If you want actual internet, it will cost you. If you want anything, it will cost you. I almost forgot. It was not a temporary problem with the ice machines, they now say that there are NO ice machines. I had to go over to the Marathon gas station and pay $5.00 for another thing that should have been included. Really, just do the math and when you look at other hotels, they will be the same if noy less expensive then here. This is a nickel and dime joint.||But that is not the bad part.||As other's have reported, the hallway's stink. In the morning, I walked past STRONG cigar fumes, so I guess no control on the no smoking building.||They demand a $100 deposit. This is charged at once and then what they don't ding you for is returned. I have yet to see this. ||I was on the second floor so I was hoping that if the bug reports were accurate, they did not make it up to the upper floors. WRONG!!||I had a bite in the middle of the night that was nasty. Actually, blead onto the sheets. In the morning, I saw bugs on the bed and a cockroach in the bathroom. ||I took some photo's of the room. Nothing was...
Read moreAfter reading all of the reviews I was so scared when I made my reservation at this hotel. I'm local to the area and needed a place to stay as I started over with my young child and our two dogs. The price was right so I took a chance. I am SO glad I did!
The outside of the hotel is clean, well lit, nice cars in the parking lot. The lobby was bright and inviting. The lobby was recently cleaned. The check in process went smoothly and all my questions were answered. The other guests were warm and welcoming.
The walls ARE thin but it is not that bad. I work from the hotel room and do not have any issues with background noise. I do not hear the room above us. The hallways are clean. The wifi is easily accessible and I was able to upgrade without a problem. I was able to reach tech support when I needed assistance.
The rooms are nice. There was an unknown substance on one of the walls but nothing a Clorox wipe wouldn't handle.
I haven't seen anyone loitering outside, the hotel has security cameras and you need a key to enter the building.
There are fast food options close by- Wendy's, Taco Bell and Popeyes. The location is close to the highway.
Overall so far it's been a great experience. The bathroom has a bar of soap, two rolls of toliet paper and towels. I was able to pick up more towels, toliet paper and trash bags at the front desk.
There is someone onsite until 11pm to check you in or assist you in any way.
I haven't encountered any ill mannered pets and I have a large dog that is still learning to walk on a leash and wants to be friends with everyone. This hotel was a lifesaver allowing my large dog to be with us and the pet fee is reasonable.
I would recommend this hotel to family...
