Escape For All Seasons — Hotel in Big Bear Lake

We arrived in town in late July, we had a reservation and called to ask if we could check in early, we were able to. The place was extremely clean. Our only complaint is that we didn't get the beds we reserved. We brought 6 people and the townhouse we stayed in was supposed to have a king, full, twin bunks, and a sofa sleeper. It had a king, a full, and a twin mattress laying on the floor, the sofa did not pull out. We didn't care about the bunks, but we realized late at night that the sofa was also not as promised so one person had to sleep on the floor, which was fortunately extremely clean with nice thick carpet. Since we discovered this after hours, I waites until check out to mention it. The man at the front desk laughed and said "oh the ones in that unit broke, haha. I have the new ones on the deck, we just forgot to put them in. We were there in the off season, I know the place is called "escape for all seasons" but let's be real, this is a ski lodge trying to make a little money during the rest of the year. They obviously had their C level staff on for slow summer time. It worked out because we made it work, not because the place is any good. The house keepers are AMAZING at their jobs tho. even the garbage disposal was spotless. we will probably try somewhere...

The location was great and neighbours were nice. There were many’s things wrong though. All TVs were old in the room and glitched out. They only ok tv was in the living room. The ac didn’t work. The carpet was very very dirty. The water heater was very loud. Everything was old and they need to upgrade. The closet of blankets smelled moldy and dirty. None of the restrooms doors locked. Are front door had a big crack in it. When I went to open the cabinet to get my clothes a big box tv fell on me and it was very dangerous. I was using the restroom and the vent fell off on top of my head and it was metal. The coffee machine didn’t work. One of the shower heads needs a new one it was old. There speakers never worked they just put them...

The escape condos are all individually owned . We went up for the weekend and stayed in unit 40 it was the absolute worst place ever . I want you to k ow I was t expecting the 4 seasons I was thinking more like Best Western and it was terrible Motel 6 . The place was filthy . It had labels that it had been cleaned . I lifted up the toilet and it had urine all over it . Not to mention the terrible smell through out . It was not updated , there was carpet in the bathroom. , it had dirty carpets , Curtains . Never Recomened !! We only ended up staying 1 night and we booked 3 . We couldn’t get out sooner . Again I was Not expecting the 4 season but was at least excepting clean !! Don’t rent it !...
