Mile High Sports — Hotel in Big Bear Lake

They did not plow our driveway. They plowed our neighbor's yard. When we called to let them know they did not plow our driveway, that instead they plowed the yard and a retaining wall we were greeted with no apology but with a negative attitude. We were told to email the information and the owner would contact us in couple of weeks. That was a month ago. No contact... Nothing. We understand mistakes can be made, but the way they handled this or lack of handeling it encompasses the customer service skills we encountered. We didn't ask for a refund, we just asked for our neighbor's wall to be repaired if our neighbors wanted that. Luckily our neighbors are super nice and took it in stride. Unfortunately, this company missed a perfect opportunity to correct this mistake and make a set of customers for life.

Update on my review. Despite the delay in response they corrected everything. They fixed neighbor's wall to neighbor's satisfaction and refunded our fee when owner learned our driveway was never plowed. I wish they had let us know they were working on it so we didn't think we had been ignored...

Big BearOhhh did it snow in Big Bear! I needed my driveway plowed and remembered that I used to use Mile High Snow removal company years (and years) ago. I believed I also had a credit from a long long time ago with them. Perhaps it's disappeared, but, I decided to call anyway. Anna Anna Anna. What a woman and a company, full of integrity! I DID HAVE a credit from years and YEARS ago with this company and needed (now) a snow removal job done for a physically challenged missionary friend, and her companion, in my driveway. She was going up with HER friend to go to a Big Bear Seminar. Anna, sweet Anna FOUND the credit from years and years and YEARS ago so I got to use it for this job. Mile High Equipment is the place to trust and to go to, my reading friends. I am so very impressed with their deep and amazing integrity. And good and thorough work ethics! Thank you too Anna, love you girl! I will forever be loyal to Mile High Equipment from NOW ON! LOOK NO FURTHER!!! And what are they charging me for Berm and Driveway clearing? $65.00!!!!! Ohhh yeah! LOVE YOU MILE HIGH ...

Bad customer service and defective snowboard.

We went to snowboard at Snow Summit with rental from Mile high. I had a snowboarding lesson and during the lesson the ankle strap came off. The coach tried to help me but neither the coach or I could put it back on.

Coach then suggested me to go to the repair shop but I was told I would need to pay the maintenance fee to fix it. I couldn’t finish my class due to the defective board.

Back to the rental shop the owner refused to take any responsibility and claim that there’s nothing defective with the board. He said I could’ve called their number and he can get up to fix it for me. Well, this wasn’t told up front. I then told him we didn’t have any signal nor could he reach us easily due to we were at half way of the snow trail but he said everything I said was just EXCUSES. Very well said for the superb...
