I don’t usually write reviews but this place is not forthcoming with policies. First, if you are looking for a place for adults and night life options this is not the place. It’s catered to small children with children activities and everything shuts down at 10pm. Paid to have breakfast included daily. Expect long waits to be seated and extremely slow service. We booked 2 rooms for a week. Nowhere in their policies on Expedia does it show that this resort is non smoking and non vaping this includes anywhere on the property. Me as a smoker would have never booked a place where I couldn’t smoke. I would have been happy to book elsewhere had I known this upfront. Parking is terrible and far away from the hotel. There are no clear check in instructions and you have to go to a different hotel wait for 30-45 minutes for someone to show you where to park. Unless you are coming here to mountain bike or ski the resort is useless. We came to go to Yellowstone and experience the mountains in Montana. We did a wildlife tour in the north basin of Yellowstone and found a cute town with old time charm called Livingston which is a much better place to stay and about the same distance from Yellowstone, near the upper basin which is where all of the wildlife are. The town has shopping and several saloons with pool tables and darts and everyone is friendly. Livingston is beautiful and is half the price of this resort. We enjoyed the town of Livingston so much we stayed 2 nights there and paid for 2 rooms each night in addition to what we had already paid for those nights at the resort. It was well worth not having to stay at this resort the entire time. The Murphy beds are not comfortable and the pillows are horrible. There were a couple of nice employees but the majority were not. This resort needs to be upfront with their policies but they are greedy and want your money. Oh yeah, there is construction everywhere. So it ruins any nice views you would have otherwise had. Other than everything about this resort, Yellowstone is a must see, Montana is beautiful and we had a great time…. when we were not on this resort. The fireplace in the room is nice except you have to wind it up to turn it on and it only goes for like 15 minutes at a time. Hope this...

Read moreWe decided on a trip to Montana in order to visit Yellowstone, but we still wanted to stay at a nice resort/hotel. Big Sky is an hour away from the west gate of Yellowstone so it wasn’t a big issue. I’m so glad we stayed at the resort at Big Sky! The Village Center is beautiful, has great amenities, and we had breakfast included in our stay so definitely make sure to include that because their breakfast was delicious. We hiked, zip lined, and took an expedition to the highest point at Big Sky. Our room was very accommodating, included a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and an instant pot. Plenty of meal options right in the resort as well as shopping so that was nice too. Our room had a Murphy bed, not an issue but just an interesting choice because I’ve never had a Murphy bed in a hotel before. Staff were all very friendly, helpful, and outgoing. Housekeeping came in daily and they went back in for turn down service. Over all it felt very fancy while being a reasonable price for everything we got. Go down to their little lake on Wednesdays because resort guests can get free kayak/paddle board rentals. And definitely check out the town center for some shopping and food, they even do a farmers market every week. The resort also had a lot of fun activities in it’s square for kids but didn’t feel like we were being overrun by children. I would absolutely stay at this resort again and recommend it to anyone looking to spend time in a beautiful,...
