Came in on a Friday evening at 8:30. Party of 5. 3 adults, 2 children ages 8 and 12. After being seated, within 2 minutes our server Jenny, turned around from the table next to us and told us to basically have our drink orders ready as she was gonna be right with us after she closes out the table next to us. So that right there told us how this was going to go. As she said that and started to turn around I asked her what her name was and she turned back around as if she had been hailed from across the room and said " Oh this gal? Jenny" I did this to get the hint across that maybe slowing down a second to say hello to your customers and introduce yourself as our server may be better for all of us. Usually when we sit down a waitress or server will introduce themselves. She was very passive aggressive with that fake smile server attitude the whole experience. Very much a Karen vibe. I honestly don't know what caused this. She came back to take drinks and orders. Some of us got garden bar and she did tell us we're not allowed to share garden bar. we enjoy our salad and 1 person in our party found some hair in it and dint finish her salad. We actually came to celebrate a personal achievement for her. She told me about the hair after dinner, but never told waitstaff. My youngest son was casually eating his garden bar as thats all he wanted and I dont think Jenny liked that he was using his fingers to eat some peas, as she said oh dont you have any silverware!!!? I'll go get you some, as there was silverware next to him in plain sight. anyhow, My food was great. My oldest son had new York strip with shrimp and rice. Jenny brought my son's plate to the table with a bag of rice on the plate. she walked away so fast we had to take a minute to think about what had just happened. I thought to myself how is this normal to have a bag on your plate. my son started eating his shrimp and mom started cutting into the steak which was rare, not medium rare as ordered. there was something resembling a fish scale or a pea skin that was grayish colored in the rice. When we finally got Jenny to come back she immediately started to put her hands on my sons plate and take the bag of rice and empty it out onto the plate to which we said uh no we do not want that. We told her there was something possibly in the rice and Jenny said oh those are seasonings, which she was pointing to the seasonings on the plate where the steak was. So it took a while of this before she just took the plate back and gave us options. We asked for cooked zucchini instead. I asked for the steak to be cooked longer and she brought out another and Jenny asked us to cut into the steak. which it was perfect. Jenny had the audacity to tell my son that his parents should teach him how to cut across the grain of his steak because it would taste better. I told her we would cut the steak how we like and smiled back. The rest of the dining experience was uneventful. Overall it was just very weird. Jenny kept up with the passive aggressiveness and kept telling me how she wanted to make sure we were happy saying your getting a discount dont worry. I didn't want a discount, I kind of just wanted a different server. Jenny got a 20% tip regardless. I am not happy with our experience at Ruby Tuesdays. I think it will be awhile before we'll be back. Also may want to check the date and time stamp on your guys...
Read moreThe Ribeye Steak was paper thin and small portion didn't even look like a Ribeye Steak, it looked unappetizing, and no vegetable to go with it, just a small baked potato. They put sour cream on my potato, which I told the waitress only butter. So she took the plate back and got a different potato with only butter on it, which the potato was smaller than the first one. We got ripped off!!! The portion of Scampi Shrimp was very small, didn't even look like anything on the menu as for the size. Mentioned this to the waitress and she said the menu's picture is blown up to look bigger. Deception in our opinions. The price of what we got was unacceptable. Way overpriced. Paid over $70.00 for very little food!!! Would like to get a refund??? Should of just sent everything back and left. Was not even thinking at the time of taking a few pics of our so called meals!!! Very frustrating to say the least 🙃 The date we had been there February 22nd 2024. //_ To the owner. UPDATE on March 2nd. You had wanted my contact info, I had sent that over a week ago??? No response from you in regards of what happened at your restaurant??? No concerns in...
Read moreNot the worst, but still really need to express the overall disappointment. First I’ll give credit for the baby back ribs, really tender and off bone. Now the disappointment: we were there before rush hour, around 4pm Saturday. No one waiting yet, just many tables reserved. Our server seemed to rush us from beginning to end, like running a fast food business. We were 5min into our salad and the entrees came. So what’s the point of the endless garden bar? Also hastened to give us bill and feels like she’s trying to get us over with and start the next table. It’s the McDonald feeling of chain comfort food. The New Orleans tilapia and shrimp was extremely salty, especially the rice pilaf. The cheesesteak hoagie was like burger meat, not cheesesteak. We will never come back again. Edit to add: i have emailed them promptly per the instructions below. Never heard anything back. I doubt the corporate cares about...
