I had high hopes for this new hotel, but I was quickly disappointed. To start, I was placed in a room that had two outlets and a light that didn’t work, the fridge also seemed to only get to about 50 degrees at its coldest. I tried calling the front desk to ask for maintenance to check on the issue, but the phone’s speed dial didn’t actually dial the front desk, and just gave a busy signal every time I tried to dial. I walked downstairs and asked for someone to check on the problems I was having, and was told I they wouldn’t be able to look at any of the problems until they next day, so they put me in a different room across the hall. The room across the hall seemed to be all in working order, as it was late at this point so I went to sleep. I woke up the next morning and decided to make myself a cup of coffee with the room coffee maker. The coffee maker worked fine, until I realized that the coffee cup covers they supply, don’t actually fit the coffee cup. Seriously, as petty as this problem is, it seems like it would be so obvious that you shouldn’t include a cover that doesn’t even fit the cup. After my disappointment in the coffee, I went on with my morning routine to take a shower. And then yet another thing that didn’t work in this hotel. The shower. I turn it on and only a dribble of water comes out. Hot or cold, no pressure. Having to leave soon for work, I had no time to try and switch rooms again, so I had to just leave. I told the front desk about all the problems I had had while staying there, and they seemed to be very apologetic and kind, however since I was staying on a company account, a refund didn’t do anything for me. They said they would comp my Marriott bonvoy account with points for the inconvenience, but when they went to add to my account, their system was down and they couldn’t get the computer to work. Seems like more things didn’t work at this hotel than they did. This is a brand new hotel so maybe they’re still ironing out the kinks, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here until they can...

From the moment of check-in with Victoria and Jordan I knew this property was something special. They could not have been more friendly and reminded me if there was anything extra they could do to make sure my stay was more enjoyable to just ask.
Every time I walked by the front desk they said hello and even remembered my name so I made sure I learned theirs! Never felt more welcome at any hotel.
The room was spacious with a huge TV, workstation, love seat, big comfy bed and full size, well proportioned bath room. Temperature control was perfect, top floor views were beautiful and the hallways were quite and this was during spring break! Every thing was fresh, spotless and super clean.
The lobby area had multiple seating areas with lots of electrical outlets and of course free, high-speed, reliable WIFI. The bar featured Starbucks coffee drinks, delicious breakfast options (try the Sriracha bowl) in the morning and tasty burgers, cheese curds, flatbread pizzas in the evening. Morris the bartender provided excellent service even when he was busy!
MORE HIGHLIGHTS: *The shuttle to airport and Mall of America every hour! *Mini market with drinks, snacks, and frozen foods to grab and go or eat in your room. Large heated indoor pool open late for adult only swimming hour. *Outdoor patio with seating area. *Saw the large gym being cleaned often.
Do yourself a favor and book here, the rates are super competitive with other hotels in the area and it's worth every dollar! I never write these type of long reviews but I genuinely thought this hotel deserved it! I will...
Read moreDON’T BOOK HERE. In comparison to the cost of the many, many, many, other hotels in the Edina/Bloomington area, you’re paying a lot to get little in return. I had booked a 4 night stay, I regretted it after the first night, but unfortunately, due to COVID, it wasn’t in my budget to cancel my stay, be charged for an additional night (per their cancellation policy) and pay for another hotel. I had one coffee pod in my room, no coffee cups, sugar, or creamer, and stained bed linen, I had to ask multiple times to get the items needed to make coffee. I felt extremely uncomfortable outside of my room, at one point that rose to unsafe, as I was cussed out by another guest when I said excuse me, as I was trying get off of the elevator at the first floor (with my two dogs), as he stood directly in front of the doors when the opened and proceeded to barge into the elevator. There was no front desk staff present, as per usual, to witness or try to mitigate the situation. Additionally, the elevators constantly smelled of marijuana, no matter the time of day or night. The grounds, grassy areas, sidewalks, parking lots, are littered with trash, cigarette butts, empty beer bottles, fast food bags, dirty diapers, and car parts. Other guests were loud, constant opening & shutting of doors, at all hours of the night, and some of them appeared to be sex workers, that use the the hotel for their clients. I’m very disappointed in the quality & service at this hotel, seriously, don’t book here, there is a Holiday Inn Express up the road and a La Quinta 0.5mi away, RUN from...
