Zero stars for service. Five for the new remodel. Three for the food.
This review will primarily be about the service at this particular OG.
Adalina was inattentive to say the least. She never came by to ask how things were & never checked on water levels. I was served cold chicken gnocchi the first round & a piping hot bowl the next.
We asked her to take the black olives out of his salad & put them in a separate ramekin or plate, she clear as day nodded & came back with the olives in the salad & said “you guys can take the olives out.”
I used to work at this exact OG, so I know the salads are made to order, she intentionally put those olives in there.
I noticed she had three tables. One of the other tables was across from us. When we & the other table were ready to pay, she was nowhere to be found despite both tables calling for her on the Ziosk.
One male server approached us & asked us if we needed anything & assisted us in getting the boxes we were trying to ask Adalina for & he even asked if we needed anything else.
Meanwhile, a diner from other table got up to go & find her, letting another server at the bar know she couldn’t find Adalina; eventually another female server approached that table & Adalina walked by & ignored her table because another server was already taking care of her responsibility.
At the end of dinner she came over asking if we needed help AFTER we’d already been helped by the male server, & we asked if OG still gave mints. She came back with two & just threw them down on the table.
Horrible service Adalina, find a new job if you’re so unhappy with this one. You’re lucky my boyfriend is so glass is half full & also works in the service industry & believes in tip karma; if it were me, you’d get nothing.
I hope your managers see this post & you get talked to about your bad attitude & service. I hope that OG isn’t THAT desperate for staff that they’d...
Read moreTook my Lovely Wife to Olive Garden for our Wedding Anniversary which was on Valentines Day. We were both looking forward to this but we were both highly disappointed with the food and there prices. We both ordered Shrimp Scampi. She ordered the salad and I ordered the Chicken Gnocchi soup. When the server brought out our meal the server was a little on the careless side. As he took it off the serving tray he spilt the Shrimp Scampi all over the floor and into my lap. They brought me another dish out. The Shrimp Scampi was almost tasteless. The Chicken Gnocchi was not what it used to B. It used to B really creamy and really good but this time the Chicken Gnocchi was watered down and was also almost tasteless. I went to find the Manager of Olive Garden at this time and wanted to talk to her about our experience. She asked me where we sitting. Then she asked me if I wanted something different. I asked her if I could please reorder the Chicken Alfredo. The Chicken Alfredo was better. The Manager came to our table and asked if everything was OK. Told her I used to really like the Chicken Gnocchi soup they had before. My Lovely Wife asked why they changed the menu on almost everything. She informed the Manager that there were dishes on the menu that were her favorites but they no longer have them on the menu. The Manager made things right on our visit to this Establishment. But needless to say we will probably never go back to Olive Garden again 😕. Seams a lot of Restaurant's are increasing there prices which I understand. But what I don't understand is the food they R serving is not what it used to B. I have found this out in quite a few Restaurant's not just Olive Garden. The Restaurant's that R cutting corners and not serving good food will B loosing Customers and soon will go out...
Read moreOur family chose to dine here for dinner on Sunday 8/8. We arrived at 8pm, so the dinner rush was over. We were seated quickly but then passed over by many other servers for about 15 minutes. I finally flagged down a passing server to ask for assistance from our server . Our server then came out (she obviously wasn’t watching her section). She was kind but really seemed new in her position. Our salad and entree came out fast , timed well , hot , and tasting great . Our server never checked back and preoccupied by another task (maybe side work). While we were eating dinner , we noticed a young woman hostess walking through the dinning room eating a piece of cake off of a plate . Yes, eating cake while walking through the dinning room checking and confirming open tables . This really got under my and my husbands skin and seemed very unprofessional. Our server tried removing my husbands plate while he was in the middle of taking his last bite of his dinner, this was a very awkward situation. She never asked to remove the plate. After we were done with dinner, I had provided payment and way presented with a credit card signature paper , and no print out of the itemized bill. I really think it’s important you know what you are paying for and should be presented with a itemized bill. The overall experience was not great , ALL of the server staff just seemed not aware of their surroundings (no team work). The best service we received there was from a male and female buser staff. The two busers we encountered were attentive with “asking” and removing dirty dishes , and offering a detailed cleaning of the filthy high chair when we arrived. The busers made the experience better . I recommend having the server staff work together better and “touch”other tables , even if it’s not in...
