I plan to never return to this hotel ever again due to the following reasons: The presence of cockroaches throughout the property was unacceptable. I found them in the bathroom, kitchen, and even the bedrooms. I attempted to nap and discovered a cockroach crawling out from under the pillow and once walked into the room to find a horde of cockroaches and bugs in the sink, which my mother and I had to clean ourselves. The cleaning service during our stay was inconsistent and poorly managed. On several weeks, there was no cleaning service at all, and the sheets were not changed. I had to go to the front desk to request fresh sheets and change the beds myself. Despite following hotel policy by clearing personal belongings from areas we wanted cleaned, our room was still neglected. Additionally, our scheduled cleaning day was changed from Monday to Tuesday without any prior notification. I only discovered this when our room was not cleaned on Monday, and I inquired at the front desk. The staff member admitted they had no explanation for why we weren’t informed of the change. A simple notice or heads-up would have gone a long way in managing expectations. The front desk service was another major issue. On multiple occasions, I waited alongside other guests for assistance, only to find no one present. There was no sign indicating they were helping other guests or taking a break. On one occasion, I called the front desk and discovered the staff member was outside smoking, NOT doing their job. The entry cards were highly unreliable. Despite taking care to keep them away from electronics, they only worked intermittently. One night, after returning late, my card failed to work repeatedly. The front desk attendant tried to fix it several times and even issued new cards, but none worked. I had to make four trips up and down the stairs before the staff member finally came to try himself [as he did not believe and continued to belittle me] —only to encounter the same issue. Fortunately, my roommate was inside to let me in, but I had to wake her up, disrupting her rest before an early workday. We were promised a refund due to the numerous issues we raised during our stay. However, I am now being informed that this promise is being retracted. This is completely unacceptable. No one should have to stay at a hotel where assurances made to guests are not honored. Again, due to these numerous issues that this hotel REFUSES to resolve, I will never be staying here - or any Stay America for that...
Read moreBEWARE! This place is absolutely disgusting! If I could give 0 stars I would. My brother in law booked this trip early January for a 2 night 3 day stay. We were traveling from Chicago with a 4 month old, 4 yr old, my sister, myself, and our mother. We knew that we would arrive late so we did a check in over the phone. The hotel took our information and credit card info over the phone. They assured us we would be good to go once we arrived. However, that was not the case. We arrived around 1:30 am exhausted and just ready to head to bed. Unfortunately, the concierge (who was very friendly) could not find our reservation. We had to wait about 30 mins until we can go to our room. Walking to the room we noticed a foul smell and the rugs were coming up from the floors. Which looked like maybe water damage. Then when we got to our room and it was filled with a horrid stench. The concierge walked in a was like take a look around which I thought was strange. But like I said he was friendly. Right away we knew it was dirty. It smelled, it looked dingy, and then my first step was check the beds make sure there no bed bugs or blood stains which normally results in bed bugs. Sure enough there were blood stains at the edge of the bed. Then the pullout was covered in stains. There were no sheets on the mattress. And there were what looked like vomit and urine stains all over the mattress. Also on the side of the mattress it was moldy. The kitchen was outdated and not cleaned. It was just a terrible sight. I obviously was not going to let anyone let alone my 4 yr old and 4month old niece sleep in that condition. We right away left and requested a refund. The concierge told us to contact management on Monday. So we did first thing in the morning and the hotel manager stated he didn’t believe us and he would have to check the room himself. We would Not be getting a refund. We did book our trip through Priceline and the manager denied the refund. So he wanted proof and that I will do. I took several photos of the filth that was in this hotel. Look for yourself customers! Do yourself a favor and book at the SpringHill Marriot across the street. The service was excellent and well accommodating. As far as extended stay. The hotel was disgusting, they were super unorganized, and management was rude and unprofessional. I will continue to try and obtain a well...
Read moreI am currently staying here we got our room March 31. It is currently April 13 and we have had no one come and clean our and our time staying here the electricians that I’ve been working on the building set off all the fire alarms at 9 o’clock in the morning Had to wake up my three year old and go outside and the pouring rain on top of that not even an hour goes by all the power goes out for 2+ hours. I get a call this morning saying the housekeeping came to clean our room and it was dirty well you guys haven’t given us a clean sheets or towels or anything for two weeks before you decided to come and do your job , for context I have two adults and a three year I’m sorry it’s not gonna be spotless. Hotel is not in good shape. The rooms do not look like what they advertise online I have spent over two grand staying here. It seems like they don’t care. The manager called me to ask me about the room was completely rude, saying that my room was atrocious in fact was not, actually my dustpan and my mop and my cleaning product are in my room because they do not clean the rooms . Definitely would not recommend staying here like they only care about the money. the pullout couch had stains. the first we checked into our room the smoke alarm literally fell from are celling and there was a dead roach just casually on the stove it’s all over the doors and it’s funny to me. How housekeeping is saying my room is is dirty now, but again literally the first day that we checked in the floors were so dirty that they literally turned your feet pitch black I had to mop my own floors to a room that I just checked into unacceptable also while I was staying there, hot water went out and they couldn’t even tell me when it was going to be back on What am I really paying for? hotel is what they say currently under renovations of course they don’t tell you that when you book literally would be working all hours of the morning all of the night kept my son up and as recently as yesterday, the ceiling in front of the front lobby is leaking Towels on the ground, soaking it up in the middle of the floor. Top of all of that there was eight cars. I got broken into in windows get busted out. We don’t even...
