I recently had a spa treatment. Well about a month ago. I was very pleased with the service, friendly smiles and my massage therapist was great. I was so happy with the service and how polite and friendly Robert at front desk was. With that being said... I made an appointment with 4 weeks in advance. He booked me for May 12th and I left happy and looked forward to my next appointment. I unfortunately, due to work, I couldn't answer the phone the day before my appointment, ( we aren't allowed to answer calls while at work.) By the time I had an opportunity to call back and reschedule my appointment, It was a little after 6pm and had to leave a message. I was trying to reschedule for either Thursday or friday on the same week. Since due to work I couldn't keep my Appointment for Monday May 12th. So I left a message and some lady Called me the next day and said that due to their calculation policy I had to pay the full amount if I couldn't make it or send someone in my place. Or they could offer me 25% off for my next visit. But that I had to pay the full amount. She then said that "she got my message this morning" and not the night before (when I called and left the message) that unfortunately I will be charged the full amount of $210 for not canceling on time! She wasn't very nice about it and she proceeded with the charge on my card that apparently they kept on file because I never gave her my credit card information. I live here, I am a local and I am very disappointed on how they went about it. Charging my card the full amount for a service that was not provided and also for keeping my Credit Card On file without my consent.
I will pass my experience to many people as I can possibly can, because I Was asking to reschedule for the same week, I was still willing to have my treatment and give them my business, just not On monday as I originally booked the appointment for! I did cancel with plenty time in advance, not my fault that they didn't get the message until the next day and use it as an excuse to charge me the FULL AMOUNT!
This is not about the money, is the principal and how the lady treated me over the phone!

Read moreWish I could have given you a 5 star ,Restaurant personnel I give Big 5 star to all of them BUT a few disturbing things, the check out is/was really terrible, you tried to charged a higher price ,guess about $2.00 or more than was stated on meny, when asked about that, got the answer they had not yet changed the menus that was presented at the table.and that was a sign there that stated that THIS IS A BIG NONO,YOU SIMPLE CANT DO THAT, also at check out in the lobby, the lady or girl rather, tried to put an extra tip on the bill !!, the. Tip is included on the check,why on earth doing that and think she could get away with it,VERY BAD AND NO STAR, We were 8 ladies,and was told that there would be one check ,and we could make it up among us, !!! We all are world travelers /and living in many countries and been to all kinds of restaurants , after some discussions with our waitress, she came back and said the manager would do one exemption for us ,and let us have our own checks ,!!! Suggesting that you from now on remove that “rule” you created Your competitors has no problems doing that One more thing,you have to do something with the parking, some people had to park outside your property ,parking area can be reconfigured I personally have known and followed the Shangri La since 1994,all the ups and downs

Me and my hubby went to this hotel, at first it was a very nice ambiance and feel but then later on I've noticed there were some bugs flying around. Not only one bug but there was plenty. But we ignored it as it is the type of bug that flies around a light so when we turned the light off they would go away eventually.
Morning the next day, we had breakfast around 0840 and had some waffles. I noticed a weird taste with the waffles and realized it was bad. We both had it but we didn't finished eating since weird taste. We went in other place around the area in search for breakfast instead. After 30 minutes to an hour we started not feeling well. Nauseated, diarrhea, and vomiting. My husband had checked the food with the staff and the food was really bad and the stench came right after the staff opened it. It was left there all along. We had to buy lots of medicine- imodium, pepto bismol, white flower and etc. We had to go through all that. We were sick for 4-5 days and the experience was too far terrible. The damage in our health was way too bad that the refund wasn't enough for the trouble it have caused us.
