Rude customer service from Manager Bonnie. My family and I are here visiting from Atlanta. On December 29th, we saw this parlor passing by so we decided to come in and try it. We were a group of 10 people. Bonnie asked if we were all together and I replied with "Yes, we are but we're not paying together." So she then said "Ok" and started taking our orders. As we are getting ready to leave the other young lady there checked us out and had no problem with the payments or orders so we went on and left. December 30th we decide to come back again and now we're 7 people. Again Bonnie comes to me and asks if we're all together. I then reply "Yes, we are." *Notice she asked if we are together NOT if we were PAYING together which is the correct question to ask. She then goes and takes our orders but in between that I asked if she was the owner which then she replied that she was the manager and that the owners weren't there. I then ask for her name which she tells me and we continue on ordering. When im ready to pay for my husband, daughter, and me I notice she added an extra ice cream and I then say "It should only be 2 double anf one kiddie." With an attitude she stops ringing the order up, looks at me, and says "That's why I asked if you're together." I then reply "Exactly, you asked if we're together which we are but we're not paying together. You didnt even ask me what I was paying and just started ringing things up." She then replies with " I asked you over there. Well what are you paying for then?" Then I said "I already told you which ones they were." And repeat the order again. Once I go ahead and hand her my card, when she returns it she just throws the card, pen, and receipt on the opposite side that I'm at so of course i do the same to her when giving it back (you get treated the way you treat others). Even after I told her what the correct way to do is when dealing with customers she didn't mind to change her attitude or ugly, unfriendly face. If she's the manager I dont even want to know how she trains the rest of the employees to treat customers. My family and I run a company so we know how customer service SHOULD BE. The ice cream is really good but just because of Bonnie, I honestly wouldn't recommend coming here at all. Atleast not if you're Hispanic, because other people went in there that weren't Hispanic and she treated them differently. Her treatment to us could cost your busniess a lawsuit because of racism and being prejudice. BONNIE, IF YOU DONT LIKE BEING NICE AND FRIENDLY TO ALL RACES, WORK SOMEWHERE ELSE WHERE YOU DONT NEED TO INTERACT WITH OTHERS. SIMPLE AS THAT. YOU DONT NEED TO TALK TO PEOPLE CLEANING...
Read moreBefore I make my complaint, let me say this. I love their shakes and ice creams.. they have a great location and its really nice to sit outside in historic Bonita town center. The reason I have to rate bad, is due to the issues I will explain, which I hope can be corrected to continue having us as customers because like i said before its a nice little business in a great spot. Came in on Sunday, took no less than 20 minutes for this ONE girl to serve us, in a line of about 6 families.. disrespectfully understaffed and overworked. Than, we get our shake in a container that has the tall lid, usually for whip cream, which does not spill.. you guessed it.. the girl filled it to the top of the lid, took no less than one lift from the cup holder to have about 4 ounces of mango milkshake all over my mercedes benz, carpets, center console, and over both of our dresses clothes, new outfits by the way... (angry).. than across my wife's dress to stick it out the window to empty the rest out before it too split all over us and our car. SO ANGRY! Why did this poor girl do this? I saw it and almost knew what was gonna happen but i told myself, they are knowledgeable, if they put it in there.. they know what they are doing.. apparently not. If you are reading this, manager or owner, hire more people and train them better. I wanted to call back and explain the issue on the phone before posting a negative review but as you know, the phone rang endlessly.. because she had a massive line to attend all...
Read moreThe elder woman behind the counter…. Either the owner or manager. Horrible attitude to all customers, very cold & very unfriendly. You’d think if you were the owner or manager, you would be very out going and friendly.
We’ve been here a few times. A recent visit we ordered a milkshake and two scoops. It was nearly $20! The ice cream isn’t anything special, I don’t think it’s homemade. The milkshake was good and made perfectly. The pistachio (which we love everywhere else) tasted strange. There was a strong gingerbread or similar taste to it. It was overpowering and not tasty. I told the young lady that served us that we didn’t like the flavor. She was genuinely understanding. She said she would ask the older woman if we could get something else to replace it. The woman begrudgingly agreed. She starred us down and didn’t say anything to us. Making eye contact with her, I thanked her for doing the right thing. She didn’t even acknowledge my thanks. I said it again a she gave me a scowl and a head nod. She acted as if that scoop of ice scream was going to single handedly bankrupt the business.
I hope the young staff members that work there don’t get any customer service tips from this woman. The younger staff members are always friendly and helpful!
Because of the overpriced ice cream and this woman’s terrible attitude. We will not return. Many other reviews...
