If you value security do not stay here. We have been here for a week and come here several times a year for the last 3 years. I had no idea the security was as bad as it is. There was a thief getting into cars in the heights side. This happened on Dec 17th at 0545. When I found out I had a computer stolen and my brother had 2 pistols stolen, we reported it to the front desk and the police. The afternoon of the 17th I went to the front desk to review the cameras. They only have one camera at the very begining of each parking lot and the quality is awful. You cannot see 2/3 of the parking lots. I witnessed multiple vehicles that were rummaged through and things were stolen. I asked the front desk if they were going to notify the guests of the incident. They said the have not and probably won't. They can just report it to the police... I asked if they sent anyone around the area to see if anything was dropped or if they could find and entrance. They did not do that until I asked 14 hours after the incident. I walked the area and to my suprise there are 2 unlockable gates that thieves can just walk right up to the place. Within 100 feet of people's back doors. Thieves can be in and out off a dead in road in minutes or less. I asked the on site manager if there were going to do anything about security and was told it's a corporate problem. I called corporate and they said it's a site manager problem. I finally get the general managers number (adam). I called him 2 days after the incident and all he said he knew about it was an email he glanced at. When asked if he had plans to fix the gate issue and get better cameras he stated they have been looking into it. I fail to believe this as there are other reviews on here concerning theft from 2019 and they have done nothing. When I asked the lady at the front desk how often this happens she stated. "It's usually in the summer not as much in the winter". They know they have a security problem and do not care to do anything about it. Two days after the event and im still talking to people around me theat had no clue someone was going through vehicles. The video shows the thief going through one mans car in his truck AT THE VERY FRONT OF THE CAMERA and they still didn't notify the old man about it. The only thing worst than thier supposed security is thier lack of care for it. I was contacted 2 days after the theft by the front desk. I was hoping it was about the video surveillance or the manager but no, it was a sales guy asking me to attend a 1200 meeting the next day for some time share stuff and I would recieve a $150 gift card. They will offer you things for presentations but nothing in regards to your stolen property or security concerns. I've spent thousands coming here the last 3-4 years and have had multiple families book as well so we could be close. We will not be back unless something is done about the security. We enjoyed the rooms. Also there was another lady that had a friend staying who's debit card was stolen. She attended a time share meeting and brought up the security. She was laughed at and told "that doesn't happen here" and was sent away from the meeting.
9 month update. I'm glad the owner/ manager has time to address every other...
Read moreWe have been coming to branson for 7 years an never had a bad experience like we did at this place. If you need something dont ask because you will be told an I quote (we are just to busy) an that's no matter what time of day it is. We called at 11am an asked if our room by any chances ready for us to check in an it wasn't an that's ok because it was 11am. When we asked if they could call us when it is they said (No we cant do that we are busy but you can call back in an hour to check.) After calling 4 times we decided to wait till 3pm an just go to the property. So that's what we did an upon arrival they said our room is still not available. So we paid the other half of the room rate for our stay an just waited till 4pm to check in. An at that time we was informed that we would have to pay a deposit of $150 an that would have been ok If that wasn't the first time we was informed of that but it was the first time so we pay the deposit an the room rate that was $133 per night. We sit in the lobby for an hour till 4pm an at that time go back to front desk get our keys for room an head off to the unit. When we get to our room it isn't clean an they had just started cleaning it. We call front desk they say o it's ok just go in the room while they are cleaning an it will be done shortly. I explained that we dont want to do that because we will be in their way & more importantly I dont want my 3 year old girl to get ahold of chemicals that are used to clean the rooms. The lady said an I quote ( well I suggest you just go hang out at the pool or come back to the lobby till it's done other than that there is nothing we can do if you need anything else let us know but I need to tend to other guest we are busy) at this point I'm pissed I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor an I am asked ( is it an emergency?) I finally get to speak with a supervisor an she implies that I am lying about the room not being ready because of what her records indicate. Again I'm told that they are busy but will check on it. 15 min later I get a call an she says yea your room is not ready but just hang out for a little while an it will be ready. I told the lady that I held up my end of the deal by paying the money to stay here but they are not holding up there end of the deal. She says they will give us $50 back. We finally get in our room at almost 5pm an instead of getting $50 refunded they charge our card $53.13. When we get in the room it's only half ass clean no trash bags, no dishwashing or dishwasher liquid, it's hot as hell in the room, no soap in the bathroom, no toilet paper I guess they were just to busy to provide those things but clearly tell us that we have to clean our dishes before we leave or will be charged a fee. An dont ask to exchange dirty towels for new one because that cost $15. I could go on forever on how terrible this place is but needless to say we stayed one night an checked out the next day absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed at if you are gonna pay $133 per night somewhere I suggest you dont spend that kind of money to stay here. Only reason I gave 1 star is because it won't let me...
Read moreGood place to stay but I recommend you never accept a timeshare from them or any other timeshare company. Way too expensive overall and forever to have to be stuck with. I pray I can cancel ours pretty soon and am extremely sorry I fell for the temptation of accepting one. For 8 days and 6 nights of stays which includes two vacation times there, we have been out over $4,100 already and we do not plan to ever go back again. But, we will be continuing to be paying the same amount at least every year until we can have it cancelled which will cost us at least $16,000 to have done, too. Timeshares and companies who can have timeshares cancelled are both extremely far too expensive for what you can receive by either. They tell you that you won't have to be out hardly any money to stay at their place when on vacation but what you have to pay all year long to own a timeshare is far more expensive than the cost you would have to pay for your vacation time while there. Plus, the company that contacted us to have such cancelled when admitting their charges for doing so also requested a huge sum to do so. Their big explanation for our savings was simply that their costs would be paid off for good once completed whereas the timeshare would never end for as long as we live plus our children will be charged for it also after our death, and the maintenance fees will increase every year which ours are going to from $499 to $799 from last year to this year. PLEASE don't let them tempt you into purchasing a...
