The interior and decorations were nice eye candy and the atmosphere seems nice, but the service is kind of lacking. I don't know if it is because of our clothes or how much younger (23 & 26) we looked than everyone else, but we were not serviced. Apon walking in we were greeted with a hello but that was the only thing said to us the entire time we were there. We walked around as the cashier was busy and waited for someone to talk to about the Wine Tasting. A woman walked up almost to us and asked another couple further behind us if they were helped, they told her no and she walked away before we could inquire anything. Figuring she was busy, we started reading the list of wines in front of this wine bar to continue waiting for assistance. We kept looking and waiting when another couple walked up to the same area we were but this time the lady came up to them almost immediately and asked if they needed help. They did and she immediately started selling them the Wine Tasting, which is what we were there for. We were unable to do the Wine Tasting as we waited for assistance for so long while everyone else was served. We will just go to another Winery when we are back...
Read moreI would love to comment on the quality of the wine but never was able to taste it! We walked into an empty winery and told the lady we wanted to share a tasting because we liked the same wines and we had our son with us! We were taken to the “tasting room” where I was told to get my ID out. I had not even brought it in because I am 48 years old. So, I walk out to the parking lot, get my ID and come back in. The tasting lady proceeded to rudely tell us that we would be charged for two tastings if he sipped out of my glass! I was then told that if they allowed that, they would have all kinds of people back there tasting! That is so crazy to me because I would think you would want people tasting your wines! I’ve been to hundreds of wineries and have never been treated this way! I merely wanted to find one we liked to take back to our room for later! My business was taken elsewhere! We walked into St. James and was treated so kindly and even got a couple free sips to find something we liked! My advice is to find a different winery in the...
Read moreMy husband and I have been to this facility over the years, when it was Stone Hill, then Curling Vine, and now Ozark Winery. This visit exceeded our expectations and was most informative. Josh was an excellent host for wine tasting. I tasted several of the wines, my husband chose to taste the whiskies. Josh was informative about both wines and whiskies. The wines are made in Arkansas and several of them are very good. Josh also had several innovative suggestions on mixers to use with the whiskies. My husband and I were curious about the Bootlegger's port. Rasheen assisted us in that area and provided us a sample of the Twilight and Midnight port. The port tasting was the highlight of our visit. Their port is amazing, it was like tasting liquid heaven! It is made is small batches, bottled there at Ozark Winery and sealed with wax on premise. Rasheen also shared upcoming expansion plans for the Winery. I am looking forward to our next visit to see the plans unfold. I highly recommend visiting, especially if you are...
