From a Sales perspective everything was amazing. Dan made sure that I got a comfortable that was close to the budget I initially requested.
The issue I ran into occurred when I needed to cancel my order to replace it with a different card. I called initially to submit the cancelation request and Dan returned my call inquiring about the reason for cancellation. I informed him that it wasn’t anything on his side, I just needed to update my account information with Progressive or just use a different card altogether. Instead of canceling my order a negotiation began and he started recommending what he thought were resolutions. I assured him that canceling it was in my best interest and I would replace the order soon afterwards. I just needed it canceled for the time being. Then he consulted with his colleague.. it was almost as if I didn’t give him a good enough reason to cancel it. I insisted that I knew what was best for my situation and said “please just cancel my order”. My order still was not canceled.. Again, as if I needed to give him a good enough reason to cancel something that I was paying for.
Six minutes later, my order was finally canceled. After asking repeatedly for it to be canceled during my phone call. I was honestly so irritated and annoyed. I couldn’t even believe it took all of that to cancel my order. My only feedback would be, if a customer changes their mind and insists that they need to replace the order, allow them to opportunity to do that without hounding them or assuming that they don’t know what is best for their situation. I understand the idea of securing the sale and thing to work towards a resolution but after asking to have it canceled the THIRD time, it should’ve been done. We purchased a new king size mattress and box spring ($2500.00) and within a year we had indentations in the mattress that made sleep very uncomfortable. When we contacted the store they directed us to the manufacturer to file a claim. We followed the instructions to provide the information that proved the mattress had indentations of 4 plus inches. We were told via email that the picture we submitted did not appear to have the full four inches required (we had to use a broomstick with a paper graph they gave us and we are not professional photographers but you could tell and they agreed it was close but would not honor it due to the picture). When we disagreed we were told that we could hire an outside source (the one that they require from Jacksonville - - we live 1 1/2 hours from there), pay for their services to inspect the mattress (including travel expenses no less) but that there would be no guarantee that we would receive any compensation. Bottom line, once you purchase a mattress from this company you're on your own. They will not lift a finger to help you. We lost our $2,500 investment, we have sore hips and an achy back.
