9/21 - Update. Everyone check out Live Oak for your internet and Atlantic for security. These guys did nothing with the equipment. You wonât find worse customer service anywhere than Xfinity.
Have been trying to return equipment. Hours on the phone. Multiple calls. Was told that the only way to return the equipment was by going to a store and that I couldnât return via UPS. Patrick (with no last name - see photo) at the store then tells me to take the equipment to UPS - the exact opposite of what phone support tells me - and that he canât take the equipment. Then, after coming back into the store, he confesses that he can take the equipment, but that he canât give me a receipt for it or tell me his last name. He also tells me that the equipment will just âsit on the shelf in the back of the store.â Xfinity should be investigated by the FTC for false advertising and for its customer service. Whoever is the manager of this store should be ashamed, as Patrick clearly hasnât been empowered to assist the customer. Looking forward to competition in this market so I can switch providers.    Read moreThe app on my phone said my sim was ready to activate on my new phone, but that I had to go to a store for identification. (We have had this account for YEARS). When I went in the so called Xfinity location, they were telling a VERY upset customer that they could not help him with his service because they were only a SALES location, that customer service was by phone only. I assumed my issue would be taken care of easily, but no, I was ALSO told that this was NOT a customer service location, but ONLY a sales office. REALLY REALLY POOR. After she scanned my husband's ID I asked her if we should just try to activate it on the app, she said, no that I would have to get a new sim mailed to me. The apparent manager tried to intervene by poorly pointing out that she WAS giving me customer service, which I said I appreciated. Well the phone somehow got magically activated!! THIS IS ONLY A SALES OFFICE AND THEY DO NOT want to do anything else!!!! If she had not kept telling me they were not customer service I wouldn't have been so INCREDIBLY ANNOYED.    Read moreI've been trying to cancel my Xfinity for months,they hang up, are always rude and rarely pick up. So I went to THIS store for help. I was in there for over 30 minutes, an employee finally looked up from his phone, said he'd help me cancel, then proceeded to dilly dally and played footsie with his buddy. I said "am I gonna be here all day" "probably" said the African American (probably 21) with a short fro and awful attitude as he sits down and pulls out his phone. I said "I can't do this" I start to walk out and he goes "bye buddy". I have never been so mad in my life. I'm getting robbed and I have to be ok with it?!? And they get away with being so rude.
If I get mad I'm the problem, but this corporation and its employees treat its customers terribly and think it's ok.
I'm now a customer at love oak fiber, it's been great! It's cheaper, faster, and I talk to a real person every time! It's crazy.
I still can't cancel Xfinity, they won't let you do it on the app.
