Seating: 1/5 No cushions on any seats. This was accompanied by rocking uneven stools that made me feel a little I'll while eating. Food: 2/5 Definitely tasty, but it feels heavy on sodium and lacking on presentation. The overall time put into the food is almost relative to fast food. I can feel that they wanted to get it out asap and avoid QC on the way. Service: 1/5 We were there 10 minutes before being seen by anyone. The guy from the bar was very kind and at the same time it seems like he was the only one wokring. He came over from the bar to get us drinks but wasn't sure about getting us tacos for taco Tuesday since he had never done that because the waiters/waitresses would usually take care of it. We asked about the free chips for texting our number to the weepub club and never received anything else on it. They took about 15 minutes between meals to prepare very basic soft tacos. We ordered in sets of two at a time three different times and we were there from 5pm to 6:34pm over the course of 6 tacos. The waitress was not around very often and did not stay for long either when she was around. Usually just a quick check in and since twice we were eating when she checked she just said okay and walked away. Atmosphere: 1/5 the feel overall was definitely that of trying to be the most Irish pub in an American setting, but heavily American thing going on with nothing but beer promotion everywhere. . Not really much Irish besides the colour theme and a few random clovers. It rely seems to concentrate on putting the alcoholic menu all over the walls instead of putting a piece of Ireland in the USA. Price: 2/5 Drink prices are not on the menu and they are 2.50 per person. Most places keep it 1.25 - 1.75 so this was a real shocker. Adding sour cream, something that I expect on a taco, was an extra charge of 50cent and the cups were not full. OverAll: 1/5 I can not recommend this place as far as a sit down and eat restaurant. Perhaps the bar is Good, but I have no intentions of...
Read moreAfter reading about the restaurant or pub my wife and I decided to try it out last night. As previous restaurant/bar owners we were excited to try a new place here in Brunswick Georgia. We are still fairly new residents so we try new places as often as possible. First we got there and the place wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday evening around 7:00. It was cold outside and chilly inside as well. We are greeted with a sign that states seat yourself so we found a booth away from the front door. Waitress came quickly and took our drink orders and we looked over the menu. The choices were as expected in what I called a sports bar atmosphere/Irish pub. We asked about the potato soup which she recommended as well as the large pretzel with two dipping sauces, one spicy mustard and one something else. Now keep in mind the place was not busy and we ordered soup and a large pretzel, 35 minutes later finally our selections arrived, the soup was not soup but mushy potatoes with some bacon bits thrown in and mine was cold. The large pretzel was pretzel bites 4 to be exact with one dipping sauce. I asked our server what this was she stated they must have runout of the 🥨 pretzels. When we asked for the spicy mustard dip another server brought a bottle of plain squeeze mustard . They must have know something was amiss so they brought 4 more pretzel bites. Would I recommend this pub to anyone the answer is a definitive NO. We...
