Thirty Acres Kitchen — Restaurant in Buena Park

My wife and I showed up at 11:05am on our 10th anniversary expecting to be able to order breakfast, only to be told lunch was the only option. And met with bland indifference by the “hostess.”

Nowhere in the restaurant or on the Google entry or even on the pictures of the breakfast menu, does it say breakfast ends. You have to navigate through the entire Knott’s website to find the restaurant page and find that they only serve breakfast until 11am. Utterly ridiculous for a “comfort food” restaurant to NOT serve breakfast all day. Even their PDF menu doesn’t list any hours for the various “meal” times.

This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. The warm lighting, rustic decor, and comfortable seating make it an ideal place for a relaxed meal. The service here is excellent. My server Alex was attentive without being intrusive. He even surprised me with a boysenberry cheesecake for my birthday. Thank you so much Alex. They have an outdoor patio with warmers. If you’re not staying and you want to come and eat something they will validate the parking ticket for you. Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The food was amazing. We got there 30 minutes before they close; I honestly thought we were going to get turn away but the staff were amazing with the service! The wait time was very short, we ordered the pizza and a quesadilla both were served and cooked perfectly. The waiter, (I forgot his name unfortunately) was great making sure we were served properly and always being attentive and polite to what we needed. We came back for the breakfast and what can I say? Service and food is also great in the busy breakfast hours, servers were always making sure we were refilled with coffee and OJ. Definitely a great reason to comeback and stay at the hotel and enjoy a meal...
