Edit! You were not around when we paid, so how do you know what happened. What reason would I have to be dishonest?? I said it once and I'll say it again, THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!! I asked my Mom if the waitress said anything to her, she said NO!! You're responses to your customers (former) is exactly why you have a 4.1 rating. Read all the other dissatisfied customer reviews! Jade Garden used to be such a great restaurant, but sadly it has gone down hill in the last few years!
First off we were seated right next to the restroom and back door so we had to deal with the stink of the restroom and the cold from the door being open. I understand why they sat us there, because we were only a party of two and saved the better seating for larger parties.
The service was HORRIBLE!!! If I could leave zero stars, I would!
First off, the female server didn't get my order right (originally two chicken vegetable 1 in house, 1 to go, then I changed mind and ordered chicken with snow peas and water chestnuts, another order of chicken with snow peas and water chestnuts for Mom and a to go garlic chicken) we're all human and make mistakes so I let it slide; but I sat there for a bit without food while my Mom ate. The cook came out and fixed my order but it still took a while before I received my meal. I get that we were one of the last tables of the night, but the lady never once came to check on us, never came to refill our water, which I needed, brought our check and no one said thanks for coming in, how was your meal or anything, didn't give us our fortune cookies, and again didn't thank us for coming in when I went to pay our $81 bill. I am a good tipper, if the service warrants it and needless to say she didn't get a tip.
Our food was actually pretty good but they are very light with their portions, especially the rice! We needed more rice and they charged us an additional $6, $3 for each little scoop. I have never been to a Chinese restaurant where they charge extra for rice!
I'm really sad because we love Chinese food and we don't have a Chinese restaurant in Leadville, so whenever I need to go to BV or Summit County, we usually choose to visit a Chinese restaurant there,but this place will never get my business again!!!

First the owner is the waitress, rude. Something simple like having to ask for a straw was too much for her. Food comes ( should have taken photos sorry) Shrimp Lomein had 4 shrimps, count them 4!! Spring roll mushy horrible. General Tso Chicken, came with fried rice which had no peas or carrots or egg, just flat rice boring and flavorless. Again mushy spring roll. To ask for a drink refill better not!! She put the bill on the table no one was even half way done eating and she hung around!! No Fortune cookies either. There are other restaurants in BV that are so much better!! Should have known or remembered this is why the restaurant was empty at 12:30p. PLEASE don't waist you $$. We spent $54.00. never again...And ps check your receipt, we were charged for dinner not lunch. We came in for lunch and ordered lunch. My daughter got 🤢 sick not even 15 minutes after eating it.. I'm sorry that there is no " no star button" because that's what you deserve.
UPDATE* The response from the restaurant 15 minutes ago yes I was given the plate of food, 4 shrimps were on the plate I can count. Yes we were price swapped, I was not charged the $11.95 on the receipt which we looked at on the way home my mistake but you wouldn't reimburse the difference anyway. And yes look at the other reviews many people complain on your establishment, prices were wrong, soup size, wrong and the worst was the rice worm in the food. I should have looked at your latest...
Read morePoor customer service. Ordered a pint of hot and sour soup and 2 eggrolls to-go. Instead I received a small “cup” of eggdrop soup, and charged for 2 orders of vegetable spring rolls. My fault for not realizing each order of “egg rolls” was 2 per order. Eggrolls are pretty standard in a Chinese restaurant, as are pints and quarts of soup, so it would have been nice of the server to be transparent about this. However, I was okay with accepting it was my mistake for not looking at the menu closer. However, when I realized I received egg drop soup instead, I had to drive back to the restaurant. I asked for a refund on the soup. I was then told that I had to be charged a minimum of $10 or pay cash since the spring rolls alone would not meet the minimum. This whole transaction was incredulous to me. They felt like they had to charge me extra because of a mistake they made. Never again!!!
EDIT: WOW is all I can say to the owner’s response to the review. You have a dishonest server, and the owner saying they NEVER give refunds or returns even when they are in the wrong. So I should be lucky they did. GOOD TO KNOW. As I said, poor...
