Super Inn & Suites Carrollton,West Georgia — Hotel in Carrollton

6/30/18 and 7/1/18 to begin with the front desk refused to take a coupon that was posted In local magazine for this motel that should have been honored and he failed to give us a receipt for paying had to ask for one. Then the pool hours where from 2pm-9pm we returned at 6pm to motel after our appointment and pool sign was out saying closed but pool was actually open until 9pm. Then went by desk to get towels supplies the lady there says you just checked in yesterday why you need towels supplies already duh there was only two towels two wash clothes and two hand towels placed in the room the day before I don’t know abt her but if I swim I use towel if I take shower I use towel if I was hands I use towel so yeah towels get wet in all this so need more than one for two days. We stayed in room 108 and there was bedbugs I was unaware of this until last day traveling home noticed several bites over 15 bites on my legs torso arms such pain from itching burning hurts they kept popping up terrible situation. The continental breakfast was there but there was not enough to serve all the guest that came for breakfast. The cleaning crew that came to room was told not to cleaning I took supplies and linens from them gave them soiled linens and trash well as soon as we left for our appointment the cleaning crew came back to our room and changed out toilet paper after I told them not to enter our room they didn’t do anything else like clean or change linens on bed etc they seemed interested in what our personal items were in the room kept looking at our things as I was asking for supplies that morning very uneasy feeling. The room wasn’t as clean as it could have been obviously worse than I thought duebto bed bugs I found out after it was too late. We also encountered a visitor that pulled into plot in a dark suv that one occupant run up steps to one room briefly while we were looking around for ice machine and coke machine and asked driver of vehicle and passenger for directions to amenities neither of them were staying there neither knew the lay out of motel but went straight to a visitors room and then were gone quickly seemed shady like a drug deal idk just unsettling feeling. All in all my stay here was a mistake because now I’m fighting a bedbug situation at my own residence and going thru the pain of itchy burning bites all over my body and buying creams and big sprays that is costing me money. The pain and suffering that I’m going thru is not only irritating but embarrassing digging at these bites. Please realize I travel with gospel singing crew I don’t make a habit of bashing motels etc but the truth is obvious this place needs to be reported and cleaned up from physical and customer service issues are not up to standards. I would first like to say that I have always been extremely pleased anytime I have stayed in one of your hotels. I booked through Booking.com and did the reviews and all seemed fine for a 1 night stay for a baseball tournament at your Carrolton location. The property itself is unkept, lacking any care or attention to detail for a customer looking for quick night at a good price. We then enter the room it smelled awful (very musty), the furniture was broken, the ac made a God awful noise all night, there was 1 towel in the room and when asking the front desk they were reluctant to give me another so I was able to talk her into 2 more. The fixtures in the bathroom were rusted out, the tub was disgusting with black marks all over, the toilet was a fixture found in a prison, and the beds were completely uncomfortable. It is obvious the clientele renting these rooms are either living there, or extended stays, there were portable grills right outside our door, hammocks in the trees, a tires in the parking lot. If we had not gotten there so late, I would have been better off sleeping in my car with my wife and 2 small boys. I learned one thing, just because you slap a Wyndham label on the Super 8 at the end of the day it is a Super 8. I saw a review on another site that said it had been recently renovated. Looks like just painted and maybe new carpet. Carpet was sticky in some areas and no alarm clock in the room. When I came back later in the day, I asked at the front desk if I could have a few extra pillows. After speaking with someone else in a different office, the man at the front desk said they would need to take them from another room because they don't have extras and said someone would bring them up shortly. 45 minutes later I tried to call the front desk, but found the phone didn't work. So, I walked downstairs again. There was a different guy at the front desk who said he didn't know anything about it. He said if he took pillows from another room then he couldn't rent the other room. I pointed out that there were only four cars in the parking lot and that the motel appeared to have several empty rooms. He said I could ask someone about it the next day. I explained that I would need them for sleeping tonight and I have hip and shoulder problems that make it hard to sleep. When I said I would likely check out the following day and switch to a different motel the following morning he finally relented and walked with me to another room to get the extra pillows.
