I was all set to have my bed delivered on Tuesday. The truck got here and it had the adjustable foundation but not the bed. They made an appointment to bring the bed and foundation back on Thursday. It turns out that the bed I selected was damaged, and they didn't want to own up to it until someone called them. (This is a fifth grade excuse for poor communication.). Amazingly enough I called them to find out why my bed was not arriving on Thursday. They could get the bed I ordered in slightly more than a month. At that point I talked with my sales associate and made the decision that my best bet was to ask for a refund. You can go to Target with a receipt and get a refund instantaneously. You can go to Walmart with a receipt and get a refund instantaneously. You can go to the Dollar Store with a receipt and get a refund instantaneously. From Mattress Firm you can get your refund in 7 to 10 days. Which for me meant that I could not take advantage of the Labor Day sales that would all be over by the time I got my refund. I have to say that made me very upset. Michael, my sales associate at the store in 30117 ZIP Code was very polite. I might not have been. The manager at that store was very firm about the fact that Matress Firm policies and procedures had to be followed very strictly and that she was not allowed to make any exceptions. Unfortunately Michael was in a similar way loyal to the Mattress Firm way of doing things. I find it very upsetting that you have more than one warehouse around the United States but you can't transfer merchandise from one warehouse to another in order to fulfill an order. I cannot remember any organization or merchandiser who has given me more disappointment and more frustration than Mattress Firm. Your policies and procedures are dated and are certainly inconvenient for your delivery crews, sales associates, and very strict-by-the-Mattress-Firm regulations book, store manager. I would not recommend doing business with this franchise under any circumstances. Better to drive 50 miles to another city or order something on Amazon than do business with these unscrupulous vendors. Their systemic problems originate in policies and procedures that cannot be adjusted by the local vendor. 100% of my customer service failure is due to antiquated policies and procedures that come from a rigid corporate...

UPDATE...I received my mattress on the date promised and was very pleased by the delivery and setup service. Most important is that the mattress is exactly what Joyce promised! Every couple of weeks my mattress became more and more comfy. After 10 weeks or so it was perfect! My back loves my new mattress! If she would not have told me about the short "break in" time I'd never understood how the mattress remembers how I sleep and knows my body! It's so worth the short wait time! Once again, thanks to Joyce for the guidance! And 7 hours of sleep every night. đ´đ´đ´
NEXT PURCHASE! 5/22/2025 I just made my second purchase from Joyce at Mattress Firm in Carrollton today and she was just as helpful and knowledgeable as she was during my first purchase. I live in Wedowee Alabama and was in Carrollton two day ago, however I came back today to see Joyce today as she was off Tuesday! I'm a loyal customer when I'm treated well! I had no knowledge about the product or choices I needed to make an informed decision today. With Joyce's informative knowledge, options and great prices I feel great about my purchase!    Read moreMy husband and I splurged when we purchased a returned Posturepedic mattress at a reduced price and the adjustable base in March of 2016. The salesman assured us that though returned within a few days by the previous owner, the mattress was deeply discounted, and the company had thoroughly cleaned the mattress so that it was completely new looking and sanitary. Our bill was almost $4000, but the mattress is completely worth the price as it is perfect for us, and we sleep so much better.
While we did receive a deep discount on the high quality Posturepedic mattress, after the delivery guys set up our mattress, I went up to look at and lie on it. I noticed the mattress top had blood stains and black-looking smudges. It did not look new and as if it had been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
I called the store immediately, and after I briefly explained the soiled appearance of the mattress, the salesman who sold us the set assured me he would return my call as he was with a customer. He never returned my call even after I called back the next day.
Others have mentioned the failure of the salesman at this store to return their phone calls, and I will concur. When we first looked at the set several weeks prior to actually purchasing it, we left as we wanted to think about if and how we could afford that price. The salesman had no problem calling to check on our decision, but after he made the sale, he did not bother to return my call.
