Yesterday my husband and i stopped by for “what we thought” would be a quick lunch around 12:00pm-1:00pm ..We left upset and pissed off. We ordered our food and the two gentleman standing the front were playing around and acted like they didn’t even want to be there. I ordered a milkshake i barely had any cheesecake pieces or blueberry pieces. The first few sips were fine but once i got half way through my milkshake it started to taste funny as if the products used were expired.. time kept ticking and my husband looked at our receipt to see what time we placed our order we noticed we had been waiting more then 10 minutes (we noticed one customer come up worried about his order too - because i over heard him say he had been waiting 20 minutes - the two gentleman behind the counter said “what do you want me to do? I’m not in the kitchen” both of them ran behind to the kitchen area and came back with serveral orders KEPT THE GUY who had been waiting for 20 minutes. My husband and i stood up at this point because we were like dang what’s taking so long this never happens without a reason. Other customers started coming questioning their orders. At this point i started to get irritated because nobody said our food would be up in a second or im sorry for the long wait.
And in the mist of it all - some short black woman strolled in with her slippers, biker shorts, no bra, see through shirt on and house robe opened a door and went to back with all workers I WAS SHOCKED 😳 that is for unacceptable in my eyes and under so many violations. And then one of the workers from the kitchen area and one guy from the front started going back and forth. While the whole lobby was full of people.
After 35-40 minutes of waiting on our food, my husband and i were NOT pleased my chicken tenders were tough, onion rings were burnt and my chicken quesadilla was cold. My husband fries were cold and over cooked, his burger was not correct, and his white cheeses bites tasted like they have been sitting under the warming lamp. All of our food had been made freshly but you can tell nobody cared to give it to us and let it sit for 35-40 minutes. I am so pissed 😠 i could understand if our food was being cooked fresh but clearly it wasn’t.
The lobby floor was sticky, tables were sticky, drink area was filthy. Trash all over the place. Definitely no restock on spoons, knifes, or straws. No dates or times on the sweet tea containers This place was disgustingly upsetting something...
Read moreOk look I'll have a TLDR version of this review at the end but I'm gonna dive deep into this one and its worth it so bare with me.
I came here expecting the average cookout experience, that experience being super hit or miss depending on the time and who's working that day. Any experienced foodie or cookout fan knows this. Well today I had BY FAR the best cookout experience, if not, one of the best fast food experiences ive ever had today.
I ordered a cookout tray with a fully loaded big double burger (with cheese of course), cajun frys and a chicken quesdilla with a blueberry cheesecake milkshake. My burger was built to last! It was almost picture perfect. The frys? you could TASTE the clean oil they fried them in AND THEY WERE SEASONED, HEAVILY. Nothing special about the quesdilla though, but that isn't anyone's fault. It wasn't bad though! But now let's speak on that milkshake real quick... whoever made my milkshake, I wanna know their schedule because id only go on the days they work. No lie, the thing was blended WELL. I could actually use my straw this time with ease. It was nothing short of amazing. And the girl who served my food? Quick, efficient and kind. She actually told me "have a good day sir!!" You know how rare it is for anyone to be kind in today's day and age ESPECIALLY at a fast food restaurant??
I don't know if this was a one off, but it made my fricken day! Everyone there that was working around 5.30pm on September 14th deserves massive recognition. People are real quick to complain but not to brag and I want to make absolutely sure these individuals are recognized. By the way I didn't get any free food or money for writing this ( I would take a free milkshake though lololol ) but It weighed on my heart and God pushed me to do this. It just felt right. I hope next time is just as good and god bless all yall at cookout!!!!!
TLDR: food cooked perfectly, service was outstanding, milkshake on point, people should compliment good service more. Try the blueberry cheesecake milkshake,...
Read moreThe customer service is HORRIBLE. I repeat HORRIBLE!! The food is the same as the customer service. I purchased 7 milkshakes. First, the shakes were spilling all outside of the cups. I had to ask for her to wipe the cups off. Second, I asked for cup holders. THAT'S when the attitude truly presented itself. So I asked "Did it bother you that I asked for a cup holder?". She said no but starts slamming the cups in the holders. To make a long story short, I asked for the manager who then comes when the same rudeness as the child at the window. I asked for the General Managers number. She tells me she was the GM. Therefore, I asked for DM's number. She said she couldn't provide that number. Then I asked for corporate 😒 She said the number was on the cup. To say the least, I will never return there and those two will be reported. I truly don't understand these places nowadays. Yall hired the most rude "don't want to work", lazy children. It would have been one thing if I was rude.in the beginning but I wasn't. I started to ask for their names but... we all know with the way their attitude was set up, they would have lied. If I could give Zero...
