Carroll 168 Donuts — Restaurant in Carrollton

Let’s start with the staff: The lady here is very friendly and I loved the fact that I felt welcomed in her store and she told me to have a blessed day, and she sounded very sincere. Let’s get into these donuts: the donuts are VERY soft and flavorful, so good Dunkin Donuts needs to stop selling donuts. I would say these donuts are tied with Krispy Kreme, based on tastiness. I also ordered a pig n a blanket (more like a hog n a blanket 😂 because it was so big) The hot dog was VERY flavorful and the bread complimented it very well. Shoot I might go back later on today to grab some more 😂. This is my new spot to grab food in the morning, since I usually go to Dunkin donuts, and the prices are great (not to mention I got more food for $5). HIGHLY recommend this place.

Update: 5/9/23. They have changed the recipe to their donuts 😞, they started putting some type of “salt & pepper” on the donuts making them less...

Hidden in the strip mall between Tractor supply & Burger King this is, to me, the best place to buy fresh doughnuts. My husband & I had tried to buy pastries at another donut place the week before & were told by the staff that they had sold out for the entire day.We thought really, your sign says you are open for another 8 hrs.I guess they were planning on selling only coffee the rest of the day,so we left. The next week I saw a coworker with donuts in a box that was not from that local chain that was always running out.He told me the location & that the pricing / taste was much better than that local branch of the national chain. Boy, was he right ! The prices were much lower & my favorite, blueberry was much more moist. My husband really enjoys Boston Creme & said it was probably the best of that flavor he had ever eaten. I went to Carroll 168 donuts with my mom today, and let me say it was PHENOMENAL!! the donuts were absolutely delicious, you could truly taste the time and effort put into each donut. the apple fritter and sour cream donuts are my moms go-tos, and she said they were the best shes ever had, which i second. I got many different donuts and they were all perfection. I usually don’t eat sour cream donuts or apple fritters but i loved these. They were also very fresh which is very important, no one wants a stale donut haha. The lady who owns the store, Bola, was also so friendly and inviting.
