Fantastic experience. I worked with Sean who walked me through everything. There was no hint of him trying to up-sell me or lead me in a specific direction. He asked questions about what I was looking for and had me try several different beds based on my answers. I felt completely comfortable the entire time and never once worried that I was being taken advantage of for a sale. He told me to take all the time I needed and even said I could take a nap if I wanted on any of the mattresses. One of the things that impressed me most was a previous customer came in that was irate about some sort of warranty situation. I was testing out the mattresses and he politely asked if he could assist the other associate who was having trouble dealing with this woman. Within 10 minutes he had calmed the woman down, offered her many options, and even went out of his way to help her out. When she left I could immediately tell she was satisfied with what transpired. It was then that I realized I was working with someone who actually cared about the customer rather than the sale. I did not purchase a mattress that day but did some more research and checked out a few more stores. One of them had a slightly better financing option, but in the end I went back to Sean for the purchase solely because of how upfront and honest he was about everything and I felt as though I could trust him. Mattress Firm corporate, if you are reading this, Sean was the honestly the key reason I purchased a mattress from you folks over the competition. I can not express enough how pleased I was with the experience.

Anyone looking for a mattress should absolutely come to this location and talk to Sean. He turned an annoying, unexpected, mattress buying situation into a exceptionally positive experience and I will refer anyone I know that is looking for a mattress to him.

Update: 11/28 - The mattress I purchased wasn't working out for me. I went in and despite going with a much cheaper mattress Sean went over and above AGAIN! He listened and showed me all the available options based on my feedback. We were able to find one I liked and he did everything he could to make sure that I left happy. I can't speak for other mattress firm locations, but even if I had to drive several hours to get another mattress I would come here to...

My wife and I had been using our current mattress for a little over 13 years now so it was time to get a new one. Mattress Firn has 2 locations very close to our home so it was convenient to stop in to browse and see in person up close. Those “bed in a box” brands look comfortable online but I would need to see in person before buying one. On that note Mattress Firm has several “bed in a box” options they stock in case you are interested. We were greeted by Keenan, a sales associate who was very polite and knowledgeable about all the brands in the store. I specifically asked about the Tempurpedic brand for its extreme cooling and Keenan immediately offered to show me some other brands with cooling that may be less expensive which I appreciated and immediately told me this man cares about my budget and not just making a big sale. I thanked him for showing me the options but in this case my mind was made up to go with TempurPedic since this was going to be a long term investment in our back/neck health. We reviewed the various models from TempurPedic and decided on the LuxBreeze cooling King size and the adjustable SMART base extended. This combination is ridiculously expensive but again at our age (47 and 51) this will most likely be the last Mattress we buy so may as well go with the top of the line best Mattress in America. My wife and I received bundle options for a big discount as well. I would definitely recommend Mattress Firm to friends and family anytime and if you are in the Rivergate area be sure to ask for Keenan. I have been having neck pain and decided to go and purchase a pillow today. I didn't know exactly where I was going to go and purchase it and just happened to pass Mattress Firm while searching. I'm so glad that I did. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the kindest person I have met in a very long time by the name of Kumar. I hope I'm spelling his name correctly. When I told him what I was looking for he began to show me different pillows and allowing me to test those pillows on the demo mattresses in the store. He explained to me the function of each pillow that I tried. His knowledge of the pillows and the mattresses as well was just mind-blowing. Even though I was only purchasing a pillow he's still gave me a full demonstration of how the adjustable mattress worked. I was totally impressed with how he knew the way each position of the bed would affect the positioning of my spine. He is professional kind and an awesome salesperson. I may not have been in the market to get a mattress today but when that time comes I guarantee you I know who I'm getting that mattress from as long as he is still with the Mattress Firm and that's Kumar.
