I come to this location often and order the fish sandwich. Most of the time the order is perfect. I don't really add any extras. If I do order anything extra, its always wrong. Last time I wanted added red onion and added tartar sauce. It didn't happen. I called to let them know. I a manager was suppose to call me and that never happened. Today I ordered a fish sandwich and added cold slaw. No cold slaw. The cooks are not paying attention to details. It is annoying. Update: 2.9.2024- I had another incorrect order last week. I called to speak with management and explained I'd placed the order through the app for the first time for a flounder platter. I requested extra tartar sauce as I always do. I pick up the order and get home, no tartar sauce. The manager was very non chalant as I explained this problem of not paying close attention to orders continues. He says he didn't see it on the order and he wouldn't be giving me a full re-order at no charge at another time. He says he can give me a free mini order. I get the order today...It is one piece of the smallest portion of a flounder I've ever seen and a huge order of fries. At this point I've given multiple chances to this place and just won't go back. They care nothing about losing a few customers...
Read moreFirst this Showmars is one of the more cleaner and updated Showmars I’ve been in. The food is good, hot and fresh. The food nor the environment is the issue. The friendliness of the staff is not in question either. It’s the competence of the staff. There have been times while eating in the restaurant that the wrong meal has come to our table. No big deal right, just wait longer and get the correct meal later. My issue is when I have take-out and this happens. For example, this past Thursday evening, while it was raining, it happened. I placed an order of three different combo meals over the phone. When I arrived to pick them up my order was handed to me with one entire meal missing. My mistake was not checking my order before leaving. I should have known better because this was not the first time this has happened. After going back up there to pick up the third meal the manager did offer to refund the entire meal. I refused it because the money was not the issue. As I said Showmars have a lot of good things going for it from the good food to the clean environment to the friendly staff but to get the orders correct is just as important. The lesson learned here is to check my orders...
Read moreOn 1/7/19 I ordered a grilled chicken salad to go on my lunch break and long story short, I get back to my job to find a dead mosquito looking bug on my pita bread as I inserted it into my mouth. Luckily I felt it on my lip, so I removed it from my mouth to find the bug there. I called back up there to request to speak with a manager and they put me on the phone with Kayla Tucker who’s the “front house manager”. I told her about my experience and her words were “Oh wow great, I can refund you your money or you can get a discount off your next meal”. I took the salad back up there and spoke with Kayla in person and I opened up the salad so that she could see the bug, and her words were “oh wow not so advertising” not yet had she once apologized. Furthermore, my response was “not once have you apologized neither while I was on the phone nor in person, what’s corporate number?” She stated there’s no number and I’ll have to go online and comment under the comments section to give feedback.
