First and likely last time I will visit this place. The pizza itself was decent, nothing special by any means, but the service was what completely ruined it for me. There was one guy who worked hard the entire time we were there, making pizzas and ringing up customers, so I want to offer a better review for his sake, but the two other coworkers make that impossible to do. The girl that was assigned to put pizzas in the oven and cut them practically refused to acknowledge customers and was slamming down plates to those who were waiting. She also left our order sitting out because “it didn’t have a number.” Thankfully we started noticing orders after ours that were picking up and decided to go check, so ours pizzas weren’t completely cold. No clue how long they had been ready. I get it, they were obviously short staffed and probably not being paid enough to care, but taking that out on customers is uncalled for. Especially since it seemed most were being patient and understanding. There was another guy that left the front when we first walked in, I’m assuming he was a manager as he was older than the other two employees. He also preferred to ignore customers and first was walking around seeming to be doing odd jobs while his coworkers were doing all they could to manage the orders coming in. I’m guessing he chose to take his break just as they got busy which left the younger guy manning both the pizzas and register. While waiting for our food, a very strong smell of weed came from the men’s bathroom and shortly after he emerged glassy eyed and went back to making pizzas. I understand this isn’t exactly “fine dining” by any means but you could at least take your recreational activities out to your car so patrons don’t have to smell that strong odor while eating. And if that was in fact the manager, those actions lead to even more concerns about how the place is ran. Major props to the guy that worked hard and kept a good attitude in spite of the circumstances. I’m sure his work ethic will lead to a brighter future than this job will offer him. I try to give a lot of grace to those who have to work with the public this time of year, but there’s no excuse for...
Read moreThis is usually an outstanding place for Pizza. However tonight the special JV team was working. Quincy you are one of the worst examples of a Supervisor/Manager I can honestly say I have met. Made an online order as usual. Was not ready when I arrived just got blank stares. Then the hustle of the herd of teens behind the counter to begin making my order. When completed I had to take it back up so that the plain instructions for my pizza could be completed on a 2nd attempt. Still failed. Told her I requested a 8 piece cut as in the instructions. Somehow she seemed to think this was possible with just 1 more cut. Math skills are such a necessity. Pizza was just OK, not made to usual standards by any means. There was no Pico on my pizza, There was no Sriracha sauce on my sons pizza. When I asked for the manager, I was speaking to him. Quincy you have got a lot to learn. You are not even close to ready for a Supervisory role. Quincy's response to the situation, "There was a mistake they made your food." There was never even so much as an admission of any wrong doing much less an apology. Damn shame also. I normally hit the 30% tip button but I thought let's see if they can follow the directions then I will tip cash. Guess what, good call on my part. Where did the usual crew go?? They...
Read moreI've eaten at other Mod Pizzas and everything was good, but this location....Lord help them. First, I stood at the counter at least 5 minutes waiting to even be acknowledged. There were 5 or 6 staff working behind the counter. While waiting to order I observed: 1 staff make a pizza for another staff, No less than 6 online orders be made, 2 of the staff doing basically nothing, and 1 staff literally scooping up sauces with her (gloved) hands and then immediately put those sauce covered hands in the veggies (ever heard of spoons?). Once the staff finally decided to acknowledge me, they told me they had just ran out of cheese and it would be 15 minutes before they had more cheese. Why did that staff member get a pizza with cheese before me? Why did the online orders, who wouldn't be showing up for 10-15 minutes get their pizzas made before me? Why does it take 15 minutes to get more cheese? COVID has ruined in-person dining experiences....these places are so concerned with online orders that they completely ignore the customer standing right in front of them!! If there is a cheese shortage, give the last bit of cheese to the customer standing right in front of you, not an employee or someone entering an order online. Stop accepting online orders if the cheese is low. Common...
