Let me start off by saying that I am NOT a big soul eater outside of my own families cooking. EVERYONE that knows me jokes about how I may be a hard person to please, due to the fact that I come from a family that cooks well. With that being said my food was AMAZING! I've NEVER liked EVERYTHING that I ordered from a soul food place. However, ALL of my food was great!!! The wings, mac & cheese (I don't like anyone elses accept my moms lol), string beans were VERY fresh & the corn bread (I only eat my moms cornbread)! I was very surprised at how everything tasted. My father had the fried fish, mac and cheese, collard greens and corn bread....his response was the same. EVERYTHING is good! The owner was extremely kind, welcoming and down to earth. She took the time to sit down and speak with us, as we congratulated her on the new business. The decor is upscale and trendy. The hashtag wall is super cute and the music was bomb. I've told so many people about this new spot. The price is not expensive at all considering current inflation prices. If it were any cheaper I'd personally be concerned about the quality of food that I was receiving. I'd recommend everyone check this place out for yourself. My experience was wonderful! Keep up the great work sisters spot!

I really don’t want to give a bad review but this is my second time trying this spot and I was disappointed both times. The sides were actually okay…….. Baked Mac, greens, potato salad and yams. All seasoned/ sweetened well. They didn’t over do it which is much appreciated coming from a soul food spot. The fish: Had a frozen taste which sucked because it had good flavor. Baked chicken:I would’ve preferred for it to be cooked longer but it was dry so that was confusing. I will say you should try it for yourself because everyone’s palate/ preference is different!

Can i just say this has to be the worst over priced “soul” food place. I ordered the fried fish platter. The fish tasted like frozen fish, string beans were definitely from a can-absolutely no flavor, potato salad was so salty and we didn’t get the cornbread that should of came with the platter. PS… the mac and cheese is made with shells and bland af. Needless to say our $80 meal was absolutely not worth it and i will not be a returning customer. Save your money!

This is one of the BEST soul food spots I’ve ever had in my life. I can wholeheartedly say that this place is phenomenal. The fact that this entire establishment from the food to the architecture was made by a hard working black woman is one of the best parts about it. This place is a piece of art. I’m very pleased with my meal. At the price point that I got this meal for, it was 100% worth it. 10/10 IF YOU ARE NOT AT SISTERS SPOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING???
