If I could give a Zero I would. The hotel was booked for 2 months from now, money charged and needed some information to finalize booking. Called the number on the website and got a hello or hi, no name, no business name, no anything professional. Terrible service and then they cancelled our reservation because we did not send in a copy of ID, names, addresses and email of the people staying there 2 months from now. Really!! Horrible!! Do not stay here and I will make sure everywhere I can I will post this review, facebook, instagram, twitter and on every site that this so called business is located on. Very Unprofessional and for as expensive as this place is you would think they could hire staff that provide better service. What a Joke, oh and I almost forgot, they called me a liar by saying they had no way to get ahold of me even though I called to get the blow-off, left my cell, they text me the information, but no way to reach me. Interesting? Nice try, people need to be warned about this place. The response to this is a lie. I booked through Southwest Airlines, "Only the Biggest Fraudulent Airline in the World" I think not, website. I can provide emails from Southwest of the booking, statements from credit card showing it was booked "but wait it was a fraudulent credit card" - again a lie and text/emails from James, extremely unprofessional, rude and shady. Read moreWas considering staying here over the lollapalooza weekend or just a weekend with my friend but after reading these reviews and the responses, I am very disturbed… I went to school for hospitality, and I know firsthand that these people who are writing these reviews can’t all be in the wrong here, but you are constantly saying people are using fraudulent cards or are to blame and it’s just very disheartening. I am saying this simply to give you guys constructive criticism, and that it is a major turn off as a customer to see that you are arguing rather than saying I’m sorry that you had that experience, we will be doing everything in the future, and make things better… And it’s OK to defend yourself in some cases but I find it incredibly hard to believe that in every single case the person is either lying or a thief or a fraud and I’m sure you’ll just respond by saying that I never stayed here so my review doesn’t matter But it does because you just lost a future customer… wish you all nothing but the best in the future. Read moreGreat stay with a great view. It was very cold but you could stay in the room and never need to leave. Good food nearby and via delivery. The fireplace was a nice touch during the cold month. It was extremely quiet in the building, you could only hear the wind most of the time. Grocery store is below, so there is no need to carry any bags far, if you seek to make breakfast within the room. All essentials were provided. We could walk comfortably from the penthouse to different tourist locations. There was some wear and tear with the property but nothing that took away from the stay. My only complaint would be that they need an updated front rug because it did cause us to trip over it a few times-- most likely from the door hitting it often. They had a cute little guest book for everyone to sign. I would likely give it more of a 4.5 than a 5 star rating because nothing is ever really perfect, but I would not downgrade it to a 4 to do so. I have no idea why any of the comments have said that they got scam vibes, I never once felt that way. Communication was great from before we got there to after we left.
