What an artsy+calm getaway! This was the perfect spot to go to in between our busy schedules. My partner and I got so relaxed with the aesthetic of the house, how calm the neighborhood is (downtown Kingston) and super inspired with so👏much👏 art👏! The beds were so comfortable we wanted to sleep in all the time! We loved the location, it was only 1 block away from the main downtown area but even in that same block we could find a very good Mexican restaurant and a printing place that offered classes and demos. Overall it was very inspiring and heartwarming to see so much community, art and peace. The recos that the house gave us were also perfect! And it’s always such a great help to know what’s up on the neighborhood you are a first time visitor. Absolutely recommend. It’s LESS than a 2 hour drive from Manhattan!

My wife and I were able to do a long weekend getaway. We knew we wanted to go to the Catskills, but wanted to try something new. We were so happy with our stay at Kingston Carriage House! It is a beautiful suite in downtown Kingston perfectly located near shops, great food, and tranquility. Everything is a short walk away. The room was so comfortable we almost didn't make it out to explore the town, but when we did we were greeted by a beautiful balance of history, nature, and friendly smiles. The complimentary breakfast basket was a great way to start the day, with fresh coffee and pastries from the local bakery. We can't wait to come back this fall! Thank you for such wonderful stay!

I had come from their sister hotel, Woodstock Way, which I think blows this out of the water! However, this is super quaint, quiet, sleeping to the sounds of the bugs outside, and cozy!! I stayed in the drawing room loft and loved the “attic” feel. SUPER comfy pillows and blankets. A lot smaller than expected, but the breakfast to the door and “wine-o-clock” was a very sweet and unexpected touch 🥰

I’ve stayed at Kingston Carriage House a few times now for solo staycations, and it truly gets better every visit. My favorite rooms so far are the Captain's Loft, Parlour Suite, and Drawing Loft, each one has its own charm and thoughtful details. The complimentary breakfast basket is such a treat, with fresh coffee and pastries from a local bakery. I also love the curated record collection and record players in every room, plus the peaceful courtyard for relaxing.||The location couldn’t be better! Just a short walk to the waterfront, shops, and incredible dining. It’s the perfect balance of history, comfort, and a beautiful neighborhood vibe. Kingston Carriage House feels like such a special hideaway, and I can’t wait for...
