I’m 57 and never in my life have I had a restaurant staff tell me “we need your table, you have to leave “. We stopped here January 28th for brunch with my wife and 2 friends. Place is poorly organized and understaffed which leads to frustration from their side, when they have customers waiting. Limited seating and tiny tables. Noticed signs on tables asking time limit is one hour when they’re busy. Between waiting for an empty table and food I’m pretty sure we weren’t even 40-45 minutes total. The staff came over as we just finished the last bite and takes our dishes away and without even offering anything else, pushes us out like we did something wrong. I noticed that a lady was sitting there when we arrived, and was still sitting there. When I pointed it out, staff said “she just finishing her meal “. I guess the trick is to take your time with meal. We didn’t enjoy our time with friends and food was nothing special. $51 for two sandwiches and coffee. If a place is full , I’ve seen restaurants post a sign so people don’t waste their time waiting. Who wants to wait anyway. Food is pricey and nothing special....
Read moreI've now lived in Huntington for almost 9 years, after 20 years of Manhattan life, so you know I'm a snob about food with all my baseline comparisons starting there. Sometimes it's other places depending on what, like pastries for example. I've been to Paris, city of pastries and Berlin has some of the best as well. Their cannoli is a remarkable experience every time, each a different love note left in the senses that has you coming back for more. My favourite and kids are the rainbow cookie, calories worth a weight in gold! Service is also excellent, very nice and...

The sandwich was perfect to my standards as well, and I am very critical when it comes to something more on the healthier side. I usually worry about texture and flavor not matching well. Something is usually off, and you have to accept it for what it is.
But this sandwich made it immediately noticeable on how well the rest of my meal was going to be... absolutely enjoyable!
The atmosphere was something out of a small coffee shop in a small town or a nice side of Brooklyn, like Dumbo.
Quiet, silent jazz in the background... just the setting you need after a good run by the water.
I definitely will be coming here again. I can't believe I missed this little gem in Kingston.
I had the Organic Maple and Cinnamon Espresso with oat milk.
To eat, I had the Panino.
No variations to...
