Tyler was my sleep expert. He was very knowledgeable, personable and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. He did not make me feel rushed or pressured to buy anything. He ran through many options of mattresses for myself and my son. I really liked the fact that he addressed my teenage son as to what he liked and preferred in a mattress. He took his time with me in deciding what to buy and my payment options. I was very happy with his customer service and sales skills. I was in the store on February 10. I bought a full size Beautyrest PressureSmart 2.0 plush mattress for my son and a queen Serta iSeries 2.0 Hybrid Medium Mattress and adjustable base for myself. We've had the beds for about a week now and couldn't be happier! The first night I slept in my hybrid, I woke up the next morning for the first time in a long time not in pain! Buying at the MattressFirm in Brentwood/Clayton was the worst purchase experience in my life. Tyler was off-putting, pushy, overbearing, distracted some of the time, then focused on selling as much as he could. He repeated himself up to four and five times. I hope his supervisor/manager will have a coaching moment/a teaching moment with him. I hope he learns that people are more than the sale alone. (Even when he called after the bed was delivered two days later, we said "it was great" for two reasons: we didn't have the heart to say anything that could be construed as mean; and we didn't want to listen to more sales talk from him if we said anything negative). I was so disrespected that I thought about it and canceled my order and will never return or refer anyone

The young man mocked me and just ignored whatever I asked him for the type of bed I was looking for

Then at the time of payment it had some questions on the screen that I didn’t understand

Instead of helping me to understand

He was so rude reaching over the desk and making a selection for me on the screen

I didn’t feel like I could trust the company to honor any service agreement

When I asked to see a service agreement

I was told to look on line and or I might get it when the bed frame was delivered but nothing was available for my review at the point of the sale
